Jetblue Oct price decrease!!

My dates are $287 today! I guess that's better then the $617 of the other day!!

Today my dates are at $307. I wish I booked when it briefly went to $237.

JETBLUES rates have been fluctuating enough the past 1 1/2 weeks that I have started a spread sheet to track it from day to day just for jollies. It did go down for my flights got a $120 credit and now it is back up again so I made out ok, I just have never seen airfare bounce like this.

beattyfamily I can only imagine how frustrating this airfare insanity is for you!! It drove me crazy and that was only for a week or two.I truly believe your fares will come down at some point. Seeing all those seats on my flights still available leads me to believe the same for your dates. When I called JetBlue to get my credit (at midnight after working for 12 hours) she said "Oh, you are so lucky you checked them again". My Disbuddy, Pooh's Pal and I laughed like crazy at that , little does she know we check those fares about 5x a day!!!

Well, I might as well keep this thread alive!

Today it's at $317pp. I'm so bummed.

I wish I bought when they first came out but now I must pray for a sale.

I'm usually the kind of person who buys as soon as they are released but the price was the highest ever so I waited. Big mistake.

I hope you don't think I'm hijacking this thread!

Okay, JetBlue wins
I'm done playing chicken... I watched as the fares first went down, then slowly, well, not started to creep up but the various flights sold out at the lowest rate... on the other hand, JetBlue has thus determined my actual vacation... I'm going to Disney World! And, it turns out, in time for an early MNSSHP, the possible end of the Happiest Celebration on Earth and the beginning of the Food & Wine Festival. Whew! I'm gonna be busy!

Not sure if I should try to give you a little hope for lower fares or not given the price of fuel this year but............last year on June3, JetBlue lowered their fares to $155 round trip. They had started out in March at $355.....and bottomed out at $135 on July 19 and then again on Sept 7 . I kept track so I would know when to buy them this year. Southwest went as low as $115 roundtrip onAugust 17. It probably won't go this low this year but I do think there is hope for all waiting for October to come down. Ya think I have too much time on my hands or what!!??

Thank you very much! I do hold out hope that they'll come down or go on sale. It's just hard for me to wait like this!!
