Jetblue....is this normal

I have been stalking my flight dates hoping for them to go down a bit. They just jumped over night more than $100 a ticket. We are at the 99 day mark for our trip. Do you think they will come back down? Or am I SOL??

They might, but nothing is certain. I know the amount I will pay for airfare. As soon as I see it, I buy. Then, if it goes down again, I can get a credit. But, I've seen fares go up more often than down.

Yeah...I didn't have the full funds until this week. I was hoping maybe something for Black Friday or Cyber Monday

My experience with JetBlue has been that as the time closes in on the departure date and the number of seats dwindle, the price goes up and stays up. That's why I always book as close to the window opening as possible.

Those over 75 seats left for both flights. So I have no idea what they are doing...

this past summer, they dropped our rates a few times about a month before our departure date but it had been the first time that I had seen that.

With Jet Blue our flights went up closer to the date. It wasn't until they had a hotel and airfare promotion that I saw the prices drop. At that point I would have to cancel everything and book through them for the savings, which wasn't much.
