Hey everyone,
Our fam is flying JetBlue out of Syracuse on December 31st....first time flying JetBlue, and first time at the Syracuse airport (we normally fly out of Pearson in Toronto, but tickets were $1400 cheaper out of Syracuse and its only an hour further drive, so we're living on the wild side and trying something new
).
Our flight leaves at 7 a.m.
so we're heading up the night before and staying at the Holiday Inn Express across from the airport. They will shuttle us over so no need to worry about parking.
Can anyone tell me if I should bring anything in particular for the flight? I think I read somewhere that we should bring earphones for the TV's, but I'm not sure? I did see that snacks and drinks are included, which is good when flying with a teenaged boy with a couple of hollow legs
.
And far as the Syracuse airport goes.....will there be somewhere to grab breakfast before we board? We're leaving too early to partake in the hotel breakfast, and I can't seem to find anything on the airport website indicating that there's a Dunkin Donuts or something similar in the terminal. I am quite sure that my dear boy (and the husband too, who am I kidding?) will expire somewhere over North Carolina if they don't have something to fill their tummies.
Me, all I need is a good dose of Gravol. Flying completely freaks me out, and makes me sicker than a dog without it. I'm hoping that being able to watch TV on board will be a good diversion that will make time pass quicker and help alleviate some of my (unjustified) paranoias.
