JetBlue Credit

I looked around on their site, but can't find exactly what I need. I have a small credit with JetBlue, and it says it is good for 365 from date the credit was issued. Does anyone know if the flight has to occur within that 365 days, or just that the credit has to be applied to a reservation within the 365?

Unless jetblue has changed their procedure since Nov. 2011, the travel needs to be booked 1 year from the date of the credit issue, however you may travel at any date after, not in the 1 year window. For example, we had credit from nov. of 2010, used it on Nov. 6, 2011 and are flying to wdw in end of this month

Yes OP, as Jess mentioned, you just have to buy your ticket with the credit before it expires. The flight can be after the credit expires. Only SW does it the other way -- (SW you have to complete your flight before the credit expires). JB doesn't do it that way....yes, I've done this many times. I've used my credit near the expiration date, with my flight being several months later and I've even gotten another credit when that flight dropped in price. I Love Jetblue....and would love them more if they had a great airfare sale for late April/early May (yes I'm still waiting to buy my airfare for my trip in 2 months).

Agreed, you need to book within the 365 window and can fly on a flight after that point. Good luck.
