Jetblue 2012 Flight Change

Just wanted to give a heads up to check their Jetblue flights if you are flying in January 2012. I'm not sure if it's all routes, but my flight in and out of Dulles Airport changed this week. They have cancelled some nonstop flights and consolidated passengers. My flight down had 3 non-stops and now only 2 but my flight home had 2 non-stop flights (one at 7:30A and one at 2:15PM) and now there is only one at 3:00PM. I checked my seats and they are still assigned. I'm thrilled that my afternoon flight gained another hour. So folks should take a peak to see if their flight times have changed, and/or seat assignments.

My flight home (to Syracuse, NY) has changed . As if a departure time of 8:12 a.m. wasn't early enough, now we fly out at 7:40 a.m. instead . I wish, if they had to adjust the flight times, they would have allowed for a later flight rather than an earlier one. But, c'est la vie I guess!

If that time does not work for you, Jetblue is generally pretty good about letting you choose another flight that best fits you and will normally waive the fee and price difference if "they" change your flight. I would take a look at your other flight options and then call to see if they will move you to a more suitable flight. I've done this before and it's worked out for us.

Wow, good to know!! Maybe I will give them a call today and see what they say. It can't hurt!! The only other direct flight to Syracuse from MCO leaves at 7:00-something in the evening.....and I would LOVE another full day in the Orlando sunshine before heading home to our Canadian deepfreeze !
