How good is jet blue, when booking on the web site when can i choose my seats.Going in NOVEMBER, Will they add more flights and times by then. Thanks in advance for opinions and infomation.

Jet blue is unbelieveable. Best airline ever and I fly A LOT! You go on your new plane, sit on your leather seat, and kick back and relax while you wathc Direct TV on your personal TV at your seat. You get like 30 channels and a free cool Map thing screen. I LOVE IT! the TV is free and they feed you a little. I WOULD DEFINETLY DO IT!

I went round trip from Oak. to New york alone, and I was 15 then. Its awsome!

I flew on Jet Blue in April and loved it. My daughter doesn't really like flying but she likes it much better on Jet Blue. Direct TV was great to keep her occupied so she wouldn't worry so much. Great snacks, they give you the whole can of soda!

Yes you can select your seats when you purchase online. We liked it so much that we're flying Jet Blue again in July.

How good?

Excellent, love them, drive 1.75 hours to get to the nearest airport with service.

Choosing seats?

You can choose your seats online after you pay for your tickets, very cool seat maps.

Will they add more flights and times?

Not likely, they put up a full schedule when it is release to the web site.

Extention past Jan 5/05?

They will post more flights when it is closer to 7 months out. I bought 01/24/04 flights on July 18th of '03.

Any other questions? :wave2:

I noticed that you pick your seats after pay for your ticket - what happens if you can't get seats together? I am looking into Jet Blue for a trip this summer and it will be just myself and my 6yo DS.

MNT568--if for some chance you cannot pre-choose seats next to each other for yourself and your DS, when you check in at the gate mention it to the gate agent, I am sure they can shuffle a bit, and get you together. I would not worry about it at all.

If you are unable to get seats together, do not wait for the gate with jetblue. It is easier with Jet Blue to just call and ask for assistance. "On our airline we help customers who ask for assistance."

I would call and speak to one of the reps at 1800-jet-blue. They are wonderful in situations like this. They hold a full 6 rows of seats, three at the front and 3 at the wing (these will be the green blocks on the seat map), they use these for situations like handicaps, last minute families, etc.

Pay for your seats, pick what is avaliable(blue dots on the seat map) then make a call to the 1 800 number and talk to a rep or a supervisor. They have told me in the past that those seats will only be opened up two weeks before the flight to move those who need them for handicap issues, etc.

But when I booked our flights for October/November in early May, I was asked if my mother would like row 3 once again this trip. Well ahead of the two week window.

Good Luck.

I have one big complaint about jetBlue. They don't fly from either Chicago O'Hare or Chicago Midway. The nerve of them!

Do I understand correctly..that you can pick your seats once you have paid? We have paid for our seats ( i have confirmation) I just went into site to try to pick seats and I can't find where that option is. Any help? Thanks, Kim

Pjpoobear, I have a question for you! I see you flew on Jetblue at the end of Jan. I am thinking about using them for Jan. of 2005. I have been checking their rates, and they vary quite a bit. do you remember if the end of January was a "cheaper" time for them? Thanks!

I booked from ROC to MCO a few weeks ago. I will say the price has just been going up since. We are going in Nov. I did pick our seats right then, but do not see a way to log back in to your conifirmation # to do it later? (for the above poster who asked). I have heard great things about them and can't wait!

I assume we need headsets to listen to the tv?

Only problem we have ever had with them is our luggage being put on the flight after ours. They offered us vouchers to eat while we waited for the next flight to arrive, but we went home and they delivered it instead. They have the most comfie seats, great tv, and awesome snacks! Gotta love the snack mix (and sometimes we ask for the biscotti). They are friendly, funny, and helpful. I have flown TWA and Delta as well- JetBlue kicked their butts! JetBlue is the only airline I know that has been on time every time (for us at least)- even early on occasion.

Yeah you need headset to watch the tvs, but they give you a set. They are not the greatest sounding headsets, but they are free. If you like to have good sound bring your own set, they will work.

Trail Mix:scratchin, I love the Chocolate Chip Biscotti:lovestruc :cheer2: :cloud9:. But did not like the blue terra (?) chips too hard :duck:.

Song is the same thing. See if that's an option. Just because it's part of a major airline doesn't make it evil or anything. ;)

We just flew Jet Blue in May and they were great! There were 3 different reservations for our trip. We took DS and 3 friends to WDW as a graduation gift. Some of the parents decided to make their own airline reservation. I was able to call Jet Blue and a very nice customer service rep helped me so that everyone sat near each other. She even made sure whichever person sat next to the window leaving Boston, did not get the window on the way back! We sat 2 each in 3 rows right behind each other. This was perfect for us. The guys all liked the Direct TV and snacks. Since our flight left at 6:30AM and we had to get up and ready to leave our house by 4AM I slept most of the flight. Seats were comfortable but I'd ask for a blanket and pillow. I got cold!!! Annmarie

We are taking the 6:30 am flight out of Boston in July on JetBlue. We live on the Cape so right now I have a room reserved for the night before at the Holiday Inn Logan with their park n fly program. Now I'm wondering if it is worth it. Would you get up early like you did again or would you stay closer to the airport if you had it to do over again?

We live on the Cape and fly out of Logan quite a bit. While we have sometimes gotten up in the middle of the night and driven up to Logan, staying at the Holiday Inn is so convenient, comfortable and reasonably priced, that it is our method of choice. The Park and Fly rate is $149.00 and includes up to 10 days of parking, this may be a AAA rate, not sure on that.Even if you park off-site at one of the parking lots, it is $80.00 for a week. The hotel is very clean and nice for an overnight stay. I have also tried the Hilton and Hyatt at the airport and prefer the Holiday Inn rooms over those and the price is much better. This overnight stay makes for a much less stressful am flight.

We hope to be going back down in the fall once DS is settled in at college. We have already decided we will use Jet Blue and take the 6:30AM flight. The limo picked us up at 4:15AM to make sure we arrived in plenty of time for security. It's a lot less stress having someone else do the driving. Annmarie
