Has anyone Used jet Blue?
We are taking Jet Blue into Orlando and we are taking the Disney buse from the airport to the port. Do we need to get out bags and bring them to the bus? I know that if you take some other airlines that you dont touch your bags after you chek in at the airport toll you see them infront of your door on the ship. I am not sure how things work when you take Jet Blue. We leave JFK at 8:00am and are due to get into Orlando at 10:50 AM any one have an idea as to what time we might get to the port? Thanks for the help!!

I have friends that have taken Jet Blue from FT lauderdale to JFK- They say it's great-nice planes, well equiped with TV's in the headrest, and nice leather seats....

I could be wrong (gasp) but I think if you have transfers from Disney to the port from the airport that they will handle your bags for you from when they get off the airplane until they reach your door on the ship. They should send you tags to put on them before you check them at the airport and that should be the last you see of them until they are outside your cabin door.
As for jet blue...they are a great airline! We use them out of here all the time. Great planes, great service and great seats!!! Kind of like Southwest but not quite as cattle car if that makes any sense.

Hi Nadtwins - We are fans of JetBlue and are also using them to fly in for the Halloween cruise except we are going down the day before. I haven't yet used them to fly to MCO but our experience with them so far has been wonderful! The seats are comfortable and the TVs keep the kids occupied. Are you flying back to JFK on November 1?

Yes, DCL does pick up bags from JetBlue. Just be sure to put the DCL tags on your bags before you check them in at your home airport.

Love JetBlue.

Go ahead and tag your bags, since you're coming in on a cruise day, you shouldn't have any problems. I always wander over to the baggage carousel anyway, just in case...we did see our bags come out once before in Ft. Lauderdale! Never had a problem with Disney.

Port is about an hour from the airport. You'll go downstairs and stand in a line for the Disney bus. When it's full, you pull out. If you're lucky, you'll be the last ones on the bus. Otherwise you may be sitting around for about 15 minutes or so.

Either way, you'll be on the ship by 1. Have fun!

Nadtwins,

We are also on the 12:45 flight to JFK. Small world! I can't believe that the cruise is only 25 days away!

yOU HAVE SOME SPECIAL TAGS in your cruise booklet. The Wonder has blue and the Magic yellow unles that has changed. the tags have you name and stateroom number . They MUST be put on before you check your bags at your point of orgin and the next time you aee them is in your stateroom. Your room steward will be asking if all your baggage has arrrive at least our did.

Thanks everyone for all your helpful replys!
Carole88, yes it is a small, small world:D ! That plane ride will be a little depressing seeing what is behind us as oposed to what is infront of us! Time is starting to fly now! Look foward to meeting you in 4 more saturdays!

In case anyone in New England missed this.......

Yesterday JetBlue announced they are starting service from Boston in January. They will be flying to Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa.

After hearing/reading rave reviews about them, we are considering flying with them to Orlando in April, because they are MUCH cheaper than Delta/Song. Anyone ever had a bad experience with them?
