Does JB issue credits if the air fare price drops after you book ?

yes! we were issued over $500 in credits for our family of four for our march trip. the price dropped 2x in two days.

you can do the credit online, it's simple, however, at the time we tried, there was an issue with the website so we had to call. it's worth checking your flight daily, even multiple times daily. prices change all the time and it's nice to get that credit.

take note that the credit will be towards future flights on SW, per person, non-transferrable, and will need to be used within one year

SW? Did you mis type I am asking about Jet Blue

ooops...sorry, I got so excited over our SW savings I forgot you were asking about JB. sorry, I don't know about JB

Yes, jetBlue will issue credit for the difference if the fare drops and you make no changes to your plans. It can be done online, but I prefer to call.

You have one year from the date of original purchase to book a new flight. This is better than Southwest.

I always call them to do this. And you have to make sure they rebook your flight. Essentially, what happens is they cancel your flight and then rebook it. I know that I almost hung up once before making sure they rebooked me. The rep hadn't, and was very embarrassed by his almost omission.

Thanks for the responses, I had called JB and asked but was Leary since we all know how Disney reps are prone to giving mis information so I thought best ask here. :)

jetBlue reps are very different from Disney reps - partly because jetBlue has fewer parts, rules, etc.,than Disney so there's less for everyone to need to know. Partly because everyone at jetBlue knows everything they need to know to assist us :).

Set up a tracker at yapta.com they have an app too. When you call and everyone is on the same reservation ask for your credits to be put in one travel bank. Makes life so much easier when you go to use. Unlike Southwest anyone can essentially use the credits when you book another trip.
