jet blue vs. southwest

We've only flown on Southwest, but think we might try Jet Blue for our next visit. A few questions: are the planes about the same size (3 seats-aisle-3 seats), and if I wanted to change my flight for some reason, would I get the credit like on SW to be used at a later date? Thanks.

My DH loves Jet Blue but we fly Southwest because we have to travel to Boston to catch Jet Blue.

The planes are set up the same way - 3 seats on each side.

There's a charge to change your flight but they will give you a credit for the balance of what you paid.

If price isn't an issue, go with JetBlue. Assigned seating and the seat back entertainment system put it far above SWA.

Southwest does not have change fees. Jet Blue charges $100.

Jet Blue has 2 different kinds of planes. The Airbus 320 is 3 and 3 seating. Last year on our trip home to NY, we were on an E190 and the seats were 2 and 2. It was a smaller plane. It tells you, when you pick your seats, what kind of plane it is.

Jet Blie 3x3 searing has wider seat than SWA. I prefer Jet Blue when I can avoid JFK and Logan in Boston.

There is really good site to find out about seating. Also if you go with Jetblue it is very helpful when you go to pick seats.

I like them both. I have more experience with JetBlue, but my SW experiences were very positive (plus I love the culture of the organization).

We're using Southwest for our upcoming trip. I was very pleasantly surprised that they didn't charge me any fees when I needed to change one of the flights. I'm a little apprehensive about the fact that you can't choose your seats in advance. (Partly because I have a leg problem that restricts my choice of seats). It could feel like a free for all.

We use Jet Blue a lot. It's very efficient and comfortable. The website is easy to work with, and you definitely get more legroom than with many other airlines. Their loyalty program is wonderfully simple. We went to Mexico with our bonus flights.

My girlfriend and I are taking JetBlue on our January trip to Disney. Direct TV on every flight, which is awesome.

It's not different but the OP was specifically asking about Jetblue compared to SW. :confused3
Yep I knew that, I was wondering if Jetblue's was different than any other airline. Sounds like it works the same way as everyone else (again, except for SW). Thanks.

Oh...I'm sorry, I read your post the wrong way. I am only familiar with Jet Blue, Delta & American - they all charge change fees. I am sure the others do as well but I don't have any first hand experience with them.
