Both airlines are in the same price for my flight in two weeks. The only reason I would go with SONG, is because of the updated planes, but I heard not all of them are updated. What are the chances, that I will get an updated plane on Jan 23.

Some people are getting the updated planes and some aren't. I flew in mid-Dec and had the 'old' planes both ways. No tv screens for us either way. But, as AA is saying..."THere's more to flying than TV screens." I would go with the better rate and better schedule. Which ever airline fits your needs, go with it.

I haven't ever flown Song, so I really can't comment on that, but if I had a choice, and both had the same fares, I'd say JetBlue all the way. The staff is ALWAYS incredibly friendly and helpful (and that extends just beyond the flight crew...the folks at the ticket desk, gates, the people that boards.....), ALL of the planes have the TVs, so you don't have to worry about that, and I've found JetBlue's planes to be extremely comfortable. (At least as far as coach seats go ;) )

Flying Jetblue for our trip in march to the world Can't wait glad to here
goodthings about them.

Just an update... Because I couldn't decide I am flying song on the way there and then Jet Blue on the way back.

All of Songs flights are operated with the new Song interior, but you may or may not have TVs. They're in the process of installing them now.

jetBlue baby. Song can match prices and lose money for only so long.

People come back to jetBlue for the service, as well as the fares. JetBlue treats you as the customer. Not part of a "Herd."

JetBlue employees simply like their jobs. This creates a superior experience for you, the paying customer.

Song my have modified interiors on 20 year old planes, but it's the service that will keep jetBlue's business.

I'm caught in the the same dilemma.
I was so sure we were going with Song, but JetBlue just (a few days ago) started flying from here in Boston. JetBlues commercials on TV (quite funny and ever present!) offer New planes, leather seats w/ satellite TV'S for each person, AND a price of $79.00 each way!! If I had the money to book with them right now (for 7 ppl)..I would!!! Unfortunately, we have to wait until the thankfully Big tax return check comes back in mid/late Feb to be able to book! I've heard that all Song planes will be equipped with TV's by the time we fly, but I doubt the fare will be that cheap!

It's killing me to not be able to jump on these deals!!!

I have to say that all the people I have had any contact with at Song, from the flight attendants to the customer servce person on the other end of the phone, have all been terrific to work with. That's one of the reason's I keep flying Song. I don't want to get into a big thing here, but I can't get the times I want to fly with JetBlue at the $79 prices. It's the same way with SW. By the time I find the new rates, they're gone!! I know, my fault. I'm sure that at some point in the future JetBlue will have something that will fit my schedule and I'll fly with them. But in the mean time, I'm very happy to reap the rewards of the competition!!!

They're not that old. Most are only 3-5 years...

We flew Song round trip in December and had a plane with tvs 1 way,but not the other. We arrived at our destinations on time, the flight attendants were very friendly, and check in was breeze both times.
Ive never flown Jet Blue so I have no opinion on that one.

We flew Song in October and I chose them over JetBlue because they were "new." Mistake. I thought they would have TV's installed by then for my four year old, but they didn't. The "talent" wasn't anything special and at least on JetBlue you get a snack and don't have to pay for it :)
