Just a heads-up for the CNY Dis'ers: apparently the 93Q radio station out of Syracuse reported that Jet Blue will soon be offering flights similar to those previously offered by TMA. According to my ex-husband (whose wife heard the broadcast), the prices should also be reasonable compared to what we have been seeing. :woohoo:

 Hi from CNY! HMM..I wonder when and how much it will cost. Syracuse has the worst flights! :confused3 We booked a SW package out of Albany for our trip on August 29th because the flight times with lay overs out of Syr were awful, and the prices were much higher. Where do you live?

I've already checked this out for December, seems they have one direct flight a day (on my day anyway). Leaving SYR at 9:30am, arriving at MCO at 12:20. The return non-stop leaves MCO at 4:20pm and returns at 7:10pm. The cost is $99 each way. I think I am going to book these although I am apprehensive about the drive there with the December weather. I normally fly out of Binghamton.

Thanks, Werner!

I'm from Cortland and have flown out of Binghamton as well as Syracuse. While service has been great at BGM, a cheap(ish) nonstop flight will certainly entice me to fly out of SYR.

Any idea when JetBlue will open up travel booking for Feb 07 - at those prices I think another trip will be in order...

I JUST BOOKED! Our group of 5 (one of which will be 4 yo at the time) originally planned to drive (EEEEK!) since the cost is so high, but I think SYR offering a non-stop flight secured the deal for us. At $237 (with tax) for each of us, it's not cheap, but it will certainly be WELL WORTH IT!

Thanks for the post! :dance3:
