Jet blue to add a terminal in MA!

Well, mine was $97.50, but I did use TB points for my return flight!!:rotfl:

Its a great airport when the weather is good. But with 1 flight a day out of there, it always worries me in winter or foggy months if you will get home when you need to.

I wish you all luck.

This was old news to me. I've been following Worc T&G on Facebook for a couple days & knew it was happening. Helps to have a friend who is a reporter too & posts likes via her own FB page. lol

Ummm, actually? It's pronounced 'wustah'. No i sound, no oo sound. (that would have it rhyme with Hoover).

I finally decided to fly home into Providence. I got to use my Trueblue points and I don't worry quite as much about weather there!!!
I heard about the actual event (knew for several months thar MassPort was trying to get jetBlue in there) on channel 4 at noon. It's Wistah. ;) They said so.

There have been times that I drove to Worc Airport in a snow storm to pick up my dh. He flew in more easily than I did driving in. Yes, it can get 'weathery' up there, but seriously....many other airports have similar locations. I'm pretty sure JB researched all that when they did feasibility studies.
And yes, most of us knew this was going to happen, but we live in the immediate area.

Nope, it's Wustah. Lived 10 miles from Worcester for 55 years. You gonna believe the idiots in Boston, that can't properly pronounce Leicester or Berlin?? THey have no idea!! Truly. Anything to the left of 495 is still colonial to those residing in Boston!!! They think they still need to be armed before heading 'west'!!!

You mean Lestah and BERlin? :teeth:
Yeah, yeah, I know - probably none of them are from the Boston area. I'm just telling you the 'right' pronunciation according to WBZ.

Just booked Dec 3 for $95!! I'm thrilled!!! Now I just have to decide if I want to visit ds in Tampa and fly home from there, or leave from Orlando.
I got tickets for $59.40 each for our flight home in November and I'm VERY HAPPY!!!

Flight down was too early for JetBlue in Worcester, but I have a $50 SWA voucher to use so all is good!!!

:cool1:

Jet Blue is showing 1 available flight out of Worchester for thanksgiving week 11/23 - 12/1; the return flight 11/30 is N/A and 12/1 is already sold out. :surfweb:
Good Luck All,
Joe

I went to Worcester State College and played football there in the early 90's. The cheerleaders for the team, before 1 of the games, used chalk to write on the track that surrounded the field:

"GO WORCHESTER STATE"

God bless their hearts

Thanks for the flashback down memory lane.

Ever hear a GPS pronounce it? Pretty funny. Then again I live in Scituate and no one outside the immediate area gets that right.

DD19 started college in N Adams this year. So I have passed by Wustah many times coming and going.

Still too far for me to travel for JetBlue, although if it had been the 4 of us instead of me and DH I might have changed my mind. I booked Nov 9th-16th flying out of Providence and into Boston.

They always say Ly-ses-ta and Berlin as in Germany!!! Drives me nuts. Or East-um instead of eastHam.

My favorite GPS pronounciation??? Titusville. Yeah, no long I there.....it comes out at tititsville. It's a wonder I haven't driven off the road yet when I hear that one!!

I'm aware of its history. I live just minutes from the airport. Have been using it since 1988...when its been open for use. Lived here my entire life.
