I booked yesterday for 9/8-9/18, 167 PP RT, JFK-MCO. I think the rep said dates are bookable over the phone through 9/22, but over the website through 9/6 still. I think each leg will be 69 on the website when they are listed, as I paid 74 over the phone (usually web is 5 cheaper). I paid the extra 15 for my peace of mind. Who knows if a cheerleading or high school band group (I know, that's different dates) will buy up all the cheap seats before they are listed?
I just looked on the JetBlue website and it seems they are selling seats through Oct 31 now. I need Nov.5 though!! I wonder when those dates will open up. I'm tired of waiting!!!
michboro ~ I just saw the extension also...I tried to click the calendar to November and a window came up saying they will only book 7 months out...I am guessing November won't open until beginning of May.

I am waiting for January....I can get rt for the 5 of us around $935 total on AA. I would prefer JB and was going to hold out for them to open up, but now I don't know. If the rates are that high for January, I wonder if I should just book AA now
Ouch, no November or December yet. This waiting is just making me crazy.
Go get you early Fall flights guys! It does look like prices are up, but then again all of their competitors are charging more now too, so... With travel demand still on the rise, I don't think we'll see too many of those beloved old super low fares.
Notably, Delta came down for my November dates, and they are now charging the old Maximum rate (on Song) of $300 one-way; this is down sharply from the $500+ one-way they were looking for over the weekend.
I wonder if prices will go up or down after May 1st when Delta cancels/changes all their flights? (due to bye-bye Song)
My choices are Delta, AA, or JB. Delta... no way, too much hassle. AA has the best price $217, but the flight times suck--we'd be losing a day essentially because they are late afternoon flights. So, I want JB. However, $277 is pretty high. But what if I don't book and they go even higher in May? Ugh. I don't know what to do. Now would be a good time to be psychic.

I wonder if they will extend the dates again next month in May, because so far it has been a while (at least since nov or dec 05) since they have extended the dates, and it doesn't seem like they extend them every month. I can't believe that when they finally extended them it was only for an additional 2 months (from Sept 6 to Oct 31); I was thinking it would be at least until Dec/Jan. I wonder when the next extension will be, and if they would possibly do it again this month?
I really need Nov. !!!
I was so excited to see that October dates opened!!! I was ready to book.
The price's!!! 278.60 round trip Now I don't know what to do???
I was hoping for 79.00. Now I am trying to decide if I hang in there and wait for SW.
Just giving you all fair warning....when those JB fares come out for Dec..I'm booking mine before I come here and tell you all . I don't want any competition from you guys!
They are high from EWR Newark. I need 10/28 one way and it is $139.30. My return flight on CO if I fly back in the AM on 11/4 is only $102.80..
I'm only using JB one way because I want to use up a voucher.
Yes mam!!! I would be happy with anything under $250 at this point. I have a $44 credit that will help a bit. I don't think we're going to be seeing a lot of those $79 fares too much longer. Just open up into Dec so I can make a decision!!!
I have also been waiting now that Song is no longer an option. I booked this morning. We are flying out at 7am and home at 2:30pm we have exit row seats and the price was $257.10 inc taxes and fees each. Considering Delta was at $277 when I checked the other day and AA was under $200 but the times on their one non-stop flight were crazy so $250.00 for a non-stop flight at the times I want on a very comfy plane it not a bad price as far as I am concerned.
