Does anyone know when JetBlue will release their flights for May 2010?

Hey,

Maybe this can be a disboards ding...when somebody knows, we get notified

Last year, May flights were available to book in mid-December. Don't know if it will be the same this year.

Last year,
May went on sale Dec 11, 2009
April went on sale October 8th, 2009
....But this year has been much different than last year...

So whoever gets the email first ... please post here!

Maybe this is a glitch, but I went on Jetblue's site tonight to search for airfare in August and low and behold some flights were available.

I say "some" because I searched for airfare from Long Beach, CA to Orlando. and the usual flight I take (Long Beach - Austin, Austin - Orlando) was listed as "SOLD OUT", which seems unlikely considering how far our I was searching. I also searched for one day before and after and the specific flight I want was listed as "SOLD OUT" also. There were, however, numerous options for connecting through New York.

My return flight (fort Lauderdale to Long Beach) was also available. Just to be sure I continued as far as the system would let me without actually paying and it appears to be valid. I was able to select my seats and everything!

Perhaps Jetblue is still in the process of loading the new schedules in their system?

Some of mine are posted too Dulles to MCO, but not the entire schedule. I did notice that they are going to shut down this weekend for upgrades (on the first screen). I hope they don't change too much.

Maybe the prices will get better! They are high for August.

Thank you! I went ahead and booked. I can live w/ $104 each way - even if it did go down I can live w/ that.

I haven't flown JB before but am anxious to try it. What is their policy on changes/cancellations? I'm spoiled by being able to change/cancel Southwest flights without penalty.

Here is the JetBlue policy. $100 change/cxl fee with balance on JetBlue credit for 1 year.

JetBlue offers two types of fares: Nonrefundable and Refundable. For JetBlue Nonrefundable Fares, changes or cancellations can be made prior to scheduled departure for a fee of $100 per person on jetblue.com or by calling 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583), plus any applicable difference in airfare. Any remaining balance will be placed in a JetBlue air-only credit and may be applied toward future travel for one year from date of issuance. If a nonrefundable reservation is not changed or canceled prior to scheduled departure, all money associated with the reservation is forfeited. For JetBlue Refundable Fares, changes and cancellations, for a full refund, are permitted prior to scheduled departure. Such changes are subject to availability and any applicable difference in airfare. If a refundable reservation is not changed or canceled prior to scheduled departure, all money associated with the reservation will be placed in a JetBlue air-only credit and may be applied toward future travel for one year from date of issuance. Refundable Fares may not be available on all flights.

Thanks for the head's up peoples. JetBlue $89 each way from HPN (NY) to MCO...a little higher than last years $69, but a lot cheaper than Southwest. :woohoo:

Airtran had $74 but add in the $15 per bag and it's the same but with crappy times and no tv's:cheer2:

Also...as other people have noted, only 3 out of the 4 normal flight times are available each way:dance3:

Once again, thanks for the DING:cool1:

For when?

Thanks for posting!

Hmmm, I can book my next 2 trips now. The prices aren't great for my May trip, but when I add in the united fee for checked bags, the Jet Blue price (Boston to Long Beach -> DL here I come!) is about the same for a direct flight instead of a stop over.
