With the prices or points required for end of April... BOS - MCO.

Agreed. $575 pp round trip for AUS - MCO for our March spring break week. And that's before choosing seats or checking bags. I can fly first class on a legacy airline for what it would cost to sit up front & check a bag on a Jet Blue flight.

will watch them a bit, we have a trip booked april 15-22 and have a large JB credit so we can hang on a bit and no need to jump at them today.... I hope!!

Airfare is always bonkers high the minute the fares get released, at least on American (I was stalking the airfare for the trip I was supposed to take this summer). It'll probably normalize soon. Granted it's school vacation travel, so who knows how much it will normalize?

I’ve seen, especially with Jet Blue, that the lower priced fares are when they first open and then they really jump higher.

School vacations will be over when I leave on 4/24.

I’ve mainly flown SW to MCO and with SW you can book and rebook every time the price/points go down, at no additional charge. Can you also do that with JB or do you have to pay a cancelation fee?

I'm tied to school vacation weeks and JB has been crazy hight the last few years for BOS/PVD- MCO for Feb and April vacation weeks. I even checked BOS-Savannah in case we did Hilton Head in April. Insane!! We have had great luck with waiting for Southwest to release.

That's when NH school vacations start, it's the switchover day. MA flies back, NH flies out....

You can't do that with Jet Blue or any other airline. Of course, even with SWA it's not incredibly useful when booking with cash, as you have to use the credit within a year of the date you actually made the booking (not within a year of the planned flight).
