We are going to cruise on the Magic and take some days at the park. It is also NJ week so the flights from here get really expensive, very fast!

Wondering the same thing. Probably in May is what most think. Airtran has flights posted through Nov 22nd. JB tends to lag a bit behind. Southwest is even worse.

Last year it was May 9th for Jet Blue.

Yep, it will be May. I routinely fly in early Dec, sometimes end of Nov. I don't think I have ever booked those flights before May. This is what you have to contend with if you want to fly this type of airline. But...the good thing is that they don't change their flights nearly as often as those airlines that book 11 months out.

You can book Continental right now. I prefer JetBlue but also don't need to book my flights more than 6 months out.

Waiting here for the Jet Blue fares too, I keep checking Delta daily to see if they might have a deal for when I am going, will be nice to book the flights , just one more thing to mark off my pre trip "to do " list.

If you are signed up with Jetblue, they usually will send out an email prior to the release to alert you. I'm waiting for Nov release too, but in no hurry. We are a big group and all flying home at different times, so waiting to see if anyone's plans change.

What do you mean signed up with JB? I'm a true blue member but don't recall ever seeing some way to have them alert me when they will post fares for Nov. That would be really helpful.

I'm not really in a hurry but I think most feel fares are lower further out.

Trueblue here and whenever they've released fares for a timeframe that is not open yet, I've always gotten an email telling me about it. It always says to our trueblue members, the window has openned for ....... be the first to book. However, since the recent upgrade of the trueblue account, I wonder if this will continue. Maybe it's in my profile saying yes, plese send me your ads, as I get alot of stuff from Jetblue.

Was it only December? I thought it was a lot longer ago than that! Then, I take back my "absolutely no basis for this assumption" alert in the other thread. I now think JetBlue WILL wait until May, or at least very late April, to extend fares.

I thought it was longer too, but the email was December 3, 2009.

They are extending through the end of February right? Come on, tell me it is true....
