Jet Blue "Manage Trip" option never works

Hello! Are there any Jet Blue flyers here? I had a trip I needed to change and I've tried to "Manage Trip" on Safari, Chrome, and I even downloaded Firefox but still get the same message that the page won't load or it just spins and spins. It even happens on the mobile app. What the heck is going on?

I ended up using the chat feature but then I realized that I need another change to the trip she moved me to and I'll have to go through all that again. There's also a disclaimer on their website that if you call to modify, they'll charge a $25 service fee or something like that. WTH.

Anyone have any advice on getting this to work online?
 
I have used the "Manage Flight" option successfully to modify in the past. If it is not working for you, call and let them know and they may waive the fee to change over the phone. You could also try the app if you have it. If you call you may be on hold for a while, unfortunately.
 
Are you trying to modify a trip paid with jetblue points? I was unsuccessful trying to modify a flight on points, but was able to modify another flight that was cash.
 
I have the same problem. It's so aggravating. JetBlue has never charged me the $25 whenever i had to change.
 

Same here. I tried on different computers, different networks and the app. I finally went to the chat and they were able to handle the flight change I requested with no problem. The flight I was trying to modify was on points too. Very interesting about that!
 
I've had the same problem at times when it was a flight booked with points. When that happens, I'll go into incognito mode on my browser and the issue usually resolves.

Interesting- I just realized the same; flights booked on points I get the error message but I can modify flights booked on cash. Weird.
 
I had no problem using the feature yesterday for a cash booking. I think points bookings can't be modified, only cancelled and rebooked. I had looked into this a while ago because we were going to partially book with points and I was wondering why the pop up warned to book it as two one-ways (so if you need to modify just one leg you wouldn't have to cancel the other).
 
I ended up being able to use it on the app by deleting and reinstalling the app. It still won't work on my computer, no matter which browser...it brings me to an error page.

I can't even log in to my Jet Blue account on my computer. I keep getting error messages--oop! sort of thing--and it won't even let me change my password. This happened yesterday too. Sheesh.

ETA: I can't sign in on the app, either. It just kicks me back to the previous screen and I'm still not signed in.

Try deleting and reinstalling the app. That's what worked for me. But isn't this ridiculous? And people complain about Disney's IT!
 
I have tried everything it's been broken for me for years. The whole points thing makes sense. JetBlue it is prolly worse than Disney at this point.

I haven't tried it on the app yet, but I just tried it on my pc, where I deleted the cache and all cookies. It let me reset my password, but it doesn't recognize the new password! Or the old password. I'm about to give up on this and I have no idea how I'm going to book my next flight, since I need to be logged in for that.
 
I've been having this issue too on my app. Sometimes I get through but like 95% of the time I get an error message. A few weeks ago there was an app update which I hoped would fix the issue, but unfortunately it didn't. However, it seems to work fine on my computer just using their main site. Although for me I just like occasionally checking the seat map to see how full the flight will be or if anyone took that middle seat next to me. I'm sure if you call and explain that you are having trouble with the website and app they will be able to help. I've found that of all the US based airlines, JetBlue along with Southwest have the best general customer service.

It's good that you said that @JodyK because I was going to warn people that on the website, Jet Blue says they charge a fee if you call...which is actually ridiculous since their website stinks so bad. I've used the chat feature many times but it's kind of a pain.
 
Amazingly, I was just able to log in to my JetBlue account and see my trip. All is intact and the JB site worked, right on my Chrome browser, which is what I use 99% of the time.
