Jet Blue & Long Beach Airport?

we joke that Long Beach is not relaly an airport...its more like a bus terminal...lol

Its super tiny and very very easy to navigate BUT if your flight is delayed or you have a lot of extra time before your flight it is very very boring so make sure you have enough stuff to keep yourselves entertained while you're in the airport

I'm from the Boston area also, and usually fly SWA, but for some reason, they changed--no more direct flights. JetBlue is direct.

I couldn't get over how tiny Long Beach was, I mean, it's not like Rochester is a major airport or anything ;) We just got back on Sunday from a trip out, flew Jet Blue to Long Beach, connected in JFK. Definitely bring a snack or sandwich for lunch as it's only the snacks listed that you'll get on the plane.

...for example, we were the ONLY ones going through security around 730 on Sunday morning.

ETA: We used Super Shuttle and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

Keep checking all the car rental companies for prices. I got a car last month for 4 days for $65 with National using Entertainment code and coupon. We walked off the plane, walked across the street, got the car and within about 10 minutes after landing we were on our way to our hotel on Harbor. The drive took almost half an hour but I think it might have been a little better if we took Katella rather than Ball. On the way back it took about a minute to drop off the car and five minutes later we were in the security line, which took about 10 minutes when we were there.

You can fit up to 7 people in a taxi van, same price $45.
