Jet Blue - Sac to LB in early December. $56 each way. Good deal or should I hold out for better rates? I wish Southwest rates were out so I could compare but I think I have another month for Southwest rates to come out.

Sounds good to me. I love Jet Blue! And really, how much will it go down? $10each way tops? Not worth the stress or hassle to keep looking. Jet Blue is so much better to fly then SW. :thumbsup2

I think it's a good deal. SW has been running about $50 each way on their special fares (the lowest ones) so I don't think you'll do much better than those Jet Blue rates. I *think* Jet Blue will credit you if the fare goes down, and I know they used to credit you if you cancelled the flight (can apply the amount paid to a future flight) without penalty. SW has those same policies. Last year I was able to grab one of SW's sale fares of $25 each way from Sac to SNA at that time of year, but who knows if that will ever happen again? If it did, and you could still keep your JB credit, you could always purchase the cheaper one and save your JB credit for another trip :rotfl:

Since gas prices are going up and the word is that flights are going to get more expensive, I think you'd be smart to book those JB flights.

I think the lowest I have seen Southwest from Sac to Orange County/ John Wayne was $49 each way. I have never flown Jet Blue, but to me paying $5 more each way is worth it for having assigned seats!
