Does anyone know when Jet Blue will release flights for the beginning of February? Just wondering how soon I get to buy my tickets!!!! :]

Not for a month or so, at least. Just opened up to Jan 5 on April 7.

Also eagerly awaiting more dates...
Do they provide any advance notice of when the schedule opens up, like Southwest does?
Or is it just a case of checking at a certain hour early every morning?

Thanks!

If you sign up for True Blue you will get notice a day(?) or so before the extended schedule goes public. We just did this when the November dates were opened up and scored $160 round trip. A day later they were much much higher!

Just flew JetBlue for the first time and loved it! How good is their True Blue CC? Is it worth it?

Don't have the CC, just signed up for rewards program! Sorry I can't help!

Thanks. We are members, but haven't received any emails, ever.
I'll go in to review our profiles just to be sure.

My experience is I have received emails but not on a daily basis. Last Friday was about TSA pre check.I don't have the Jet Blue CC.

So wait let me get this straight...

When I get a true blue email and it says the schedule will be extended on xx at 12 pm, I can go on a day earlier and get tickets?

I am looking for next April and as of today I can book 1 way on the Wednesday before Easter on delta but I'd rather fly jet blue and the price of that 1 way is $199 so I need to check other airports.

I can't give a definite answer as to what happens all the time, only give my experience.... JetBlue sent me a TrueBlue update telling me that the schedule would be extended on such and such a date at 12 noon. We went online to book our flight right away at 12 noon after we saw the rates were fantastic. The next day I got another (non TrueBlue specific) email alerting all email subscribers to JetBlue's extended schedule. For fun and comparison's sake, I checked our flight and it was already over $100 more.

As far as I can tell, TrueBlue members have advanced notice, and with that perhaps better flight prices, tho I will never understand the extraordinary price jumps and drops in airfare!! For all I know I could go online right now and book my same flight at the very low price I got. They fluctuate like crazy it seems!

So no, I couldn't book earlier than others, just had advanced notice!

Hope this helps! Good luck with your flights!!!

We need a sticky for this...

No. You have to wait with everyone else. But, true blue members get a heads up, so they can be ready. This is why I'm always curious as to why people alert everyone as soon as they get that email. Tickets will go faster, and then the fares go up more quickly.

I get those emails.

I am hoping the flight will be cheaper then delta. Currently delta is $178 one way the Thursday before Easter. If I could leave Wednesday it would be $116 but that would be a day of school my kids would miss. All else fails we will do the dreaded drive.
