I am flying to York for a Business event and I just noticed that my flight costs went down one way, but the real kicker is I can now fly home direct for the same price as I paid for a connecting flight.

If I want to change my 6:45 p.m. flight to Boston, and then to Buffalo, to the 8:00 flight direct to Buffalo, can I do this without the $30 change/cancellation penalty?

Both of these flights are currently at $49, the amount I paid when I originally booked. Also, the flight going has gone down to $49. I paid $69. I am guessing that I can get a credit to use at a later date for that one?

I am so used to being able to change the flight times on Southwest without penalty, that I really didn't think about it when I booked Jet Blue.

I know you can get a price reduction on your exact flight, but if you chose to change the flight #, then you will pay the change fee.

Thanks - that's what I thought, but was hoping I was wrong.

Oh well, the tickets are paid for by the company, so I also read that I would save $5 if I make the change online? With the $20 credit I will receive for the other flight it will only cost me another $5 to make the change.

I'm sure the company will let me do that, so I will not be travelling 4 hours to get home! The flight going there will only take me just over an hour!

Sign up for Tru Blue if you aren't already.
Call and get the credit first. Then go online to change your flight and use the credit. When you change your flight online it only costs $25.00. I just did this not too long ago.
