Jet Blue Changed My Flight Times!

I just happened to check today and they are TOTALLY different! Leaving at 11:30 am instead of 8 am and coming back 8:30 am instead of 8:55 PM! Needless to say this will not work for our honeymoon trip! Has this happened to anyone else? I plan on calling, but I don't want to have to pay to cancel or change my flight!

Just call and deal with them diplomatically. The 8:30 a.m. instead of 8:55 p.m. change in particular is a major change and you should have no problems switching to a later flight if they have one and if there are seats available. You should not be charged for that. The outbound flight is close enough (no matter that it can screw up your day at WDW) to the original time that you may or may not be able to get much relief there. It's certainly worth a call and you're well within your rights to try to get something closer to your original time.

It's probabaly a good idea to check their schedule to see what other flights might be available before you call. That way, you'll be equipped with the facts if they try to say that you don't have any other options.

Our MCO to Newark flight time was changed dramatically. I went onto the JetBlue website and looked for flights into JFK and LGA closer to our original time. I called JetBlue requested a more expensive flight into JFK and a supervisor was able to change it without a fee. Before you call JetBlue try to look at the website and have a proposed flight change in mind. Good luck and congrats on the wedding!

I am surprised they didn't notify you (it sounds like you just happened to check and saw the change). Jet Blue has always called or emailed to alert us of the change; sounds like they dropped the ball (or it went to your SPAM folder or something).

If it helps, Jet Blue changed our 11:20 am departing flight to 10:40 am. I didn't like that so called for a later flight, and they changed it with no problems or charges. Just make sure they reassign your seats.

You know, as soon as I became a big fan of JB's they went and started changing flights on me. They lulled me into a false sense of sercurity and then bang...I've had two changes to our Aug flights so far. Not big ones, but changes non-the-less. Of course, I still love JB. They are so easy to use and to make changes on. If they have changed your flights, they are very good about not charging any change fees. Just call them and they'll try their best to get you what you need.
