Jersey Week

parkway exit 120 (formerly 165)

we used to go during Jersey week when I was a kid. I have a few pictures of me in sweatshirts and sweatpants from '92 :P but crowds were never a problem. NJ isn't that big.

Went on a Disney Cruise in 2000 during Jersey week. I went to the teen hangouty place and we all introduced ourselves. There was like one person there not from Jersey who was like ***?

Exit 105, Jersey Shore.

Amazingly enough, there are actually people in NJ who don't go to Disney for Jersey Week. No clue what's wrong with them. :lmao:

Jersey Week is much ado about nuthin' when it comes to crowds. :goodvibes

Glad to hear it! I had no intent on changing weeks once I found out (we already had to change it once and I hated having to move my countdown! ) I just want it to be as stress-free as I can make it so that all three of us have a great vacation. :)

Exit 7A on NJTP. We are going down Jersey week in 2010. It was either that week or the week after christmas. I think Jersey week will be the better choice crowd wise.

River Edge (near Paramus - Bergen County)

We used to go late October/November all the time but the weather wasn't always "pool" weather and my husband wants a GUARANTEE to be able to
swim!!! So we have since changed to the last week of August (school has been starting later around Sept 8th lately). Crowds are great in late August but I do miss the fall months down there. Say hi to all my Jersey friends! :grouphug:

Haha! Love the North Jersey/South Jersey thing but I'm from very Northern Ocean/Southern Monmouth county area, and we are not represented!!! :confused3

Anyway, I know 2 large school districts from my area have the whole first week of November off...if there are other school districts that have the whole week off also, it may be more crowded due to that.

Funny thing: I called into a radio station a few weeks back and when I heard myself on the radio, it sounded like I had that South Jersey accent..you know, that thing with the "o"...:rotfl: I never thought I had an accent at all!!

South Jersey isn't represented because it is part of PA!

PS The Eagles stink.

OoooOOOOoooohhh Dem's fightin words!!! :dancer: (The guy in the suit to the left is supposed to be boxing!) LOL

But really, a ton of South Jersey people immigrated from Philly. I myself crossed the river Styx, I mean the Delaware in 1985 and I had the good sense to stay all these years. See How NICE South Jersey people are??? :thumbsup2

Here is sending you some love and thoughts of our nice bright, shiny WORLD SERIES TROPHY! :cheer2: You don't see that in North Jersey do ya!

Smoochies,
Marlton Mom :jester:

I can't wait to meet one of the famous NJ persons - Buddy from Cake Boss is hosting an event at the Food & Wine Festival on Nov 8th. My family is in love with the show on TLC and can't wait to see him in action.

That show cracks me up. I love Buddy's mother.

Somerset County (Princeton) here and we will be making our second NJ week trip this year. Just smile and say hello. NJ and it's people have a terrible reputation and we like it that way. We are the most densly populated state in the country and the best way to keep people from moving here is to propogate the myth.

So true. ;)
