Jersey Week- some deluxes full?

We will be staying DVC this week, but my SIL is interested in going to Disney this week as well. Looked online for her, and it seems YC.BC,BW are sold out.

I know Jersey week is a little busier than teh weeks before and after, but it sounds to me as if it will be packed? Thanks for your input.

My Mom just called to down to try to upgrade her and friend for the first week in November and CR was sold out. Probably has to do with rehab of the wings, but November has become a busier time than it was a few years ago.

that Jersey week is also the end of Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. So YC/BC and BW are all going to be booked. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if there weren't any availability during that week.

As a DVC member I have heard that BWV and BCV are also very hard to get during that time as well. Waiting until this point is probably going to make it difficult for your sister to find something at those resorts but keep trying. You never know when there will be a cancellation.

Actually this isn't the first year that has happened...last year I waited to try and make my OKW reservations for Jersey Week until early July (not realizing it was Jersey Week) and could not get reservations for the whole week...only the first 3 nights. I then tried the CR...also sold out as were all of the EPCOT resorts....actually ended up snagging rooms at the CR tower for the last 3 or 4 nights after making about 40 phone calls (got lucky and caught someones cancellation I think) at rack rate (ouch)...it is the Food & Wine Festival, Jersey Week, Election Day and the following Monday is Veterans Day...kind of a quadruple whammy. We are going the week before this year!!

2 years ago I tried to book a DVC studio at BWV or BCV for 2 nights during Jersey Week and F&W festival for my sister on points (I called in early June)...no luck (did eventually get a wait list at OKW)... but thought I would make a cash reservation for her as a back up...no luck for any of the EPCOT resorts....so I think it is an annual problem...not new this year.

I know there is at least one conference going on at CR Nov. 4,5,6 and I believe they have rooms set aside at CR for this until sometime in October which may account for lack of rooms at CR until closer to the date. This also happened to us when we went in Oct. last year. As far as the rest of the resorts I'm not sure.

Isn't this the same weekend of Veterans Day, Super Soap Weekend, and Festival of the Masters.....hmmm, sounds like a busy weekend. We are getting out in time, we are there from Oct. 26-Nov. 5.

Thanks for your input. Tried to tell SIL to book several months ago, but she waited.

At least we have our reservation. Sounds to be quite crowded however.
