Jersey Week discounts?

Hello all,

Just curious as to whether anyone has had any success in securing discounts for Jersey week in November (11/6-11/13/11). We are thinking of heading down and I'm wondering if it will be crazy busy and whether any discounts are popping up.

I think the current FD offer is good through 11/5 so as long as you check in on Sat. (11/5) instead of Sun. (11/6) you can take advantage of that offer.

I got a 40% AP discount for November 11-13 at the Beach Club.

The FD is not really a big deal for us (no flames please). We tend to eat at the Signature restaurants for Dinner so we would be out of credits in a day or so. I was more interested in room only discounts, we have an AP which we use for the Tables in Wonderland discounts but our TA has been unable to secure any Deluxe rooms for this week. I was just curious if anyone else was having any luck, AP or not. I am starting to think that this week is very busy with all of our friends descending from Jersey. My concern is that we will be at the World with all of the "Sopranos" (only kidding North Jersey) LOL.

Another thing about this week is that Friday is Veteran's Day and that weekend is closing weekend for Food and Wine Festival. Also at Downtown Disney that weekend they have Festival of the Masters. Oh and one more thing..lol..MVMCP starts that week as well! But according to touring plans it's not going to be bad until Friday and Saturday.

We have a pin that was good for those days. I booked GF with it but wound up having to reschedule to Dec due to DHs work. Now were booked at the poly for 35% off.

Wow, that's a nice break. We have been fortunate enough to have one PIN work for us over the last half dozen trips. I think the Mouse has figured he can lure us in without a pin. I will keep my fingers crossed but I have a feeling AAA discount may be the best we can do for this week.

$310 a night with tax is pretty sweet for the polynesian, I agree.I suggest that you call and ask if there are any codes attached to your name, phone number, address, etc. This one was actually addressed to my husband, who has never made a reservation in his entire life!

We got a pin code for 35% off Deluxe, 25% off Mods and Value. It does include Jersey week....but I wonder if anything better than this will come out for the general public? We are currently booked for AKL standard for 7 days, approx $180/night.

I doubt you'll get much better than that, usually general public ones aren't as good as PIN codes.

Well it is interesting that they did not block out Jersey week. That is giving me hope that maybe there is a chance of some discounts. Is your AKL reservation for Jersey week as well? If so, you are doing really well with $180/nt.

Yes, AKL for Jersey Week is what we have right now. There was limited availability with the pin. I looked online and POP was unavailable, only one of the AllStars. POFQ completely unavailable, just POR. CBR was available. As far as Deluxe resorts, it was AKL and WL, nothing else, no CR, no Poly, no BC, GF...all nada. You could also choose a studio in a DVC resort but again, very limited choices.

Good luck finding a discount and hopefully if it comes out someone will post it here so I can compare too! Jersey Week is a great time to go!

When I first booked our trip a few weeks back it was for nov 11-14. I was able to book GF with my pin. When I had to move forward a month due to scheduling, I had to book the Poly. GF is very popular, especially with MVMCP going on.

I was able to get an AP rate on the first day of release for AKL for 11/10-11/14. It was $168 for the weekdays and $174 for the weekend for a standard view. I haven't seen rates that low in a while so very excited to grab them!
