Anyone on the waiting list for BCV around 11/1-11/8 (2 b/r)?? I think my chances are probbaly slim to none (and slim might have left town ).

We will be there in a 2 b/r from 12/26/08 to 1/4/09!! It's our home resort!!

I have been on the waitlist for BCV and BWV for about 3 months for almost the same dates you are in need of. We currently have SSR booked for Oct 29 - Nov 10 but I am on the waitlist for the other 2 resorts for Nov 2 - 10. It really wouldn't bother me if we get to stay at SSR for our entire stay. I personally like the resort, but my DH is a die hard BWV fan and loves that we are able to walk to HS and Epcot.

Just a quick hello to all my fellow new jerseyans. we just bought at bwv but i figured this Nj week was out of the question so we'll be at bwv for Nj week in 2009. gotta love the teachers convention!

Good luck with your waitlist. We always enjoyed going down for Jersey week. Our youngest DD just graduated from high school and we no longer are restricted by school calendars.

We have a studio booked at VWL 11/2 to 11/7. I plan on calling this week to waitlist for a 1 bedroom. I called yesterday and was told no 1 bedrooms were available anywhere on property.

Hello fellow Jerseyites! We love going during Jersey Week, but the down side is that many DVC'ers are from Jersey and so it seems to me that it is harder to get reservations at your non-home resort. Unfortunately, the past 2 trips we tried to get into BCV, with no luck. It turns out that we really loved our stay at SSR and so it really made no difference.

Here's hoping you had better luck than we did with the wait list. You will enjoy your trip either way.

Hi my Jersey friends!

We're planning on our first stay "home" at AKV over Jersey week 11/09.
I've never been to WDW during this time of year and think it'll be a nice change from our summer trips.

Because I can't book our stay until May of 2009 (because of our AKV contract), I hope there will still be something left.

Are you sure that this is correct? Reservations for Kidani begin August 10, 2008. Why can't you make your reservations in December 2008? That would be your 11 month home resort window...

Jersey Week?? Is this why I can't find an airfare for less than $250 from JFK for that time frame?? Yikes!
