Jersey Week 2005

Could you tell me when Jersey Week 2005 is? We went this year and swore we would never do it again and now we're considering a trip to Disney during the Food and Wine Festival and there's no way we want to be with the crowds.

You have been misinformed. Jersey Week is connected to the first Thursday and Friday of the month in which the schools are closed for statewide teacher conventions. Some school districts close for the entire weeks, some just for election day (Tuesday) and the Thursday and Friday and some, like ours, just for the Thursday and Friday. And, as a previous poster said, some also close for Veterans Day.

This has always been true but someone decided to change the rules for 2005. I am certain the OP has the dates right. Anyone wishing to double check it is the njea convention. (NJEA.ORG)

NO JERSEY WEEK!
Food & Wine Festival
No October (I have a conference)

Gosh, I wonder if the F&WF is again being extended this year.... I'm gonna have to think about this... hmmm...
