Jersey Tomatoes

Oh if we can only get some red ones!!! We have 3, only 3, tomato plants that have exploded in size and tomatoes. Seriously they have taken over the pepper plants and the string beans. The poor other plants can't even grow and there is plenty of room for them.

We must seriously have over 100 green tomatoes on the vines. Seriously!!!! Once they turn red we will be giving them away to everyone that walks by the house. "Hi, would you like some lovely organic tomatoes?"
We can't eat that many!! Now, if they would only turn red then I can have a yummy sandwich!!!

But you're right. There is nothing better than Jersey tomatoes with a side of fresh Jersey corn. Yummmmmm!

I have TONS of green tomatoes, my plants are huge and falling over b/c I didn't get them staked up in time. Now if only they would turn red!

My favorite summer sandwich:

Lightly toasted wheat bread, Hellman's Light Mayo, and piles of fresh, red Jersey tomatoes! Mmmmmmmm!
