Jersey outlet? Jersey Gardens?

My dd soon to be 14 wants to go outlet shopping. And I have heard there are some good ones near newark?

I don't want to head up north to Woodbury Commons- I think that's really overpriced anyway.

So do you know about Jersey Gardens? Or any others like the Gucci outlet? Any tips on where we should go?

I was there a few times. Not impressed. I will add though, that I find most outlets overpriced seconds. Jersey gardens reminded me more of a mall.

Did you check out the newer one in Tinton Falls, a bit better, IMHO.

Tinton Falls is the Jersery Shore outlets they are good so are the ones in Jackson they at one time were the Six Flags outlets but now are just the Jackson ones ... Good teen stuff there or at least for my kids there were !

jersey shore premium outlets is nice b/c it has a much better layout than many outlet malls. there are a lot of stores in a small area so less walking. its convenient right off the parkway. check out chelsea premium outlet website for store listings. also the jackson outlet is a short drive (like 20 min) so if there are stores at both you want to visit you can easily hop from one to the other.

I agree with the others about the Jersey Shore Premium outlets. They have a lot of high end stores as well as the Nike, Gap, Osh Kosh stores. I'm not sure if they have Gucci though.

It depends on what types of things you are looking for and if name brands are important.

Jersey Gardens is more like a mall with mall store prices. My oldest DD found several things at the big Forever21 but not much else.

If you want name brands like Ralph Lauren then head to an outlet mall. I liked Woodbury Commons and in the past have hit some amazing sales there.
