Jen's Journal.....Baby Steps to a new me

Well hello!
Tomorrow is the day that i need to "get back into the swing of things" i am 100% recovered from being sick and luckily, my weight did not suffer too much from those few weeks...As of tomorrow, i have a new exercise plan i am going to be following, my best friend actually developed it for me (he wants to eventually be a personal trainer).
Sunday is going to be using the treadmill and cardio cruiser (im going to start this slow).Monday is crunches, leg lifts, lunges, and some other stuff he told me to do , Tuesday, im off, Wednesday is the treadmill and cardio cruiser again, Thursday is the crunches, etc, Friday is either my FIRM tape of Taebo, Saturday is off.

I have almost 2 months until my vacation and would love to be at a study 140 by then. i think i am about 148ish, but i will know for sure tomorrow when i do my "start weight". I also am going to drink more water and just be more aware of what i am eating and the portion sizes..im a very picky eater so im going to have to just watch my intake.

My longer term goal is going to be to get to about 135- i never seem to get under 140, so that would be a big achievement for me! I would like to be able to not feel self conscious in my bathing suit this summer and be able to wear that red dress again!

So starting tomorrow--hopefully new me :)
 
Well my Disney trip has turned into a Florida trip--im actually happy about it!
Were probably going to do one day in Disney and the rest, a more relaxed vacation in Universal--
I know i will be back to disney, but i usually dont go to universal, so this will be a nice treat!

anyways, i weighed in at 146 this morning and will get my exercise in later--im on the way to go see my uncles new puppy and then do food shopping..ill check in after i do my exercise
 
got my "official" day report--
I decided my weighin day will be Sunday--that will help me to stay on track on the weekends i hope....

Heres the plan for the week-

Tuesday-off
Wednesday-Cardio/treadmill
Thursday-Crunches, leg lifts, etc

Not a bad starting weight! You thought it was gonna be worse...so that's GREAT! Also, GREAT job on the exercise girlie!!

I know it's been awhille since I've been here. I hope you've been doing well. I saw your new plan for working out. It looks great! I think 135 is attainable for sure. You can do it!

You're doing GREAT this week (not that you haven't done well before that) and I'm soooo proud of you!

If you didn't...I was gonna call you at 5:45 when I get up :rotfl2: and I know you didn't want that!!!! So, you're lucky!
 
i am sooooo frustrated with myself..
i have been doing so good with my workouts/eating and this morning i was planning on going to teaching then coming home to work out...i was actually excited about it.
Well...apparently i "blacked out" or smething for a second at teaching today and fell into my friend and while i did that, i must have pulled something in my neck-i cant turn it..
I am sooo frustrated and aggravated right now..i dont care how much pain im in tomorrow, i will be working out..im hoing the pain goes away and i can work out today...errrrrrrrrrrr
 
MAN, Jen...you can't catch a break! I hope by today it's feeling better & you were ok to work out. If not, that's ok too....you gotta get well first.

I don't even know what to tell you to do...heat? cool? Sorry, I stink at that stuff.

it feels a bit better, but i tried to do some exercises, and it didnt work too well...

but today is over...i figure if i have to, ill reste of the weekend and next week ill do very intense working out since i have spring break!

Im so hyper tonight and i have no clue why! But thanks for checking on me kim!
 
How are you doing? Any idea on why you blacked out? That had to be REALLY scary!!!

no idea why i blacked out..i havent been feeling too great lately, but not sick either, so i have no clue whats going on.
I am going to try to start working on tomorrow again so hopefully i will be able to!

Finally,,i am on spring break!!!!i spent about 8 hours this weekend doing homework so i dont have too much to do during my break..i have one more paper to write (7-10 pages!) but then i think that is it for the week..so my goal is to get that done tomorrow so i can kinda relax for the rest of the time...i am so stressed and just need to relax.

Hope you are enjoying your break!

I hope you are doing ok, and that you are able to get back on track with your workouts. I don't know if this helps, but I remember when I was having dizzy spells that my doctors encouraged me to make sure I was getting enough iron in my diet. I didn't think I was deficient (I have always been a red meat eater) but it seemed to work.
 
Ill have to try that!

I do feel alot better and its 78 degrees here in jersey! im loving this! of course, its not going to last.

I weighed in today and was pleasantly surprise--i was at 141.5..i know it i because i havent been eating much since my stomach has been feeling weird lately,b ut hopefully my starting exercise will help keep my weight down!

Sorry I'm finally getting back to journals since before Christmas and I missed the problems you were having with being sick. I'm glad to hear you got that over but sorry to hear you still aren't feeling well. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Nice workout plan. Hopefully you can modify it a bit if there is a night that you can't workout.
