Now that the holidays are over, I am thinking of joining JC. Can I get some opinion's from those who have used Jenny Craig. I have tried over and over on my own and also tried WW I just can't seem to stick to it.

Thanks everyone for your comments:)

Do you know nikkibell on the podcast threads? I think she lost 119 pounds on Jenny Craig. Good luck with whatever you decide. :goodvibes

Thank you - I do not know of her but I will look her up now. Thank you :goodvibes

This year I lost about 30 pounds on Jenny Craig. Things have been alittle slow for me lately with the program, but its my own fault, the past two days I am back on track and going for my last 10 pounds.

I love the program. The food is really good too. It really teaches you portions. I tried WW before too, but Jenny Craig is so easy because all the food is there for you, prepared and ready to go.

Please feel free to ask me any questions.

Thanks for your post LJRJR. I am mostly concerned about the initial cost. Have you found you can replace there food with foods that can be purchased at the market like cereals perhaps???

I think I can swing $100 per week but not for long that would be a big dent from our weekly food budget.

When I first started I lost alot of weight quickly, and it did cost me about $100 per week. You can certainly replace their cereal with a healthy alternative from the store. I sometimes replace their breakfast muffins with a comprable item from the store. I am spending about $75 per week now. I think its a great program, even though it is a little expensive.

Thnks again :goodvibes I will keep you posted how on my progress. I still have to talk to hubby about the budget. I hope we can figure it out :rolleyes1

Hi there. I've recently gone back to get things under control. My consultant is totally no pressure as are all of them there. I replace my own lunches. I'm not a big soup fan and don;t really care for most of their lunches and I can do more on my own w/ a lean cuisine or 1/2 turkey sandwich and fruit or salad and feel more satisfied.

It's much cheaper to omit their lunches over breakfasts. I purchase a couple of my favorites and that's it. I was up front about my budget concerns and they've never pressure me. I do a protein shake on my 2 work days (MetRx) since that satisfied me longer and I don;t have an opportunity for snacks at work.

I make sure to figure out the exact calories of what I sub so can make sure I'm keeping w/i the right levels.

I can send you a price list if you need one.
