Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you stopped to talk to us!! I told my DH afterwards how cool it was that we ran in to you and your DH!! What's the luck, huh?!?! :goodvibes

We had a blast! That was the day after our wedding. We wanted to do something with my brother-in-law and his wife, and DH's BF, since they were leaving that night.

Well peeps, we got home a few hours ago. Just wanted to get on here and thank you all for the well wishes. We had so much fun, and I didn't want to come home. I seriously almost cried this morning when Charley said it was time to leave. I kept running around the room "NO, just 1 more pic of the giraffe and zebras!!" :rotfl:

I'm going to try to do my wedding TR and post the pics the family took ASAP or I will forget things!! My memory is awful, so thank the Lord for photos!! At the present moment, I'm looking at all of our photopass pics. I ordered the CD before we left, because it's so hard to get pics as a couple with nobody around to take them. We thought this was the best idea. We ended up with almost 250 pics, then 42 bonus pics of the characters. All in all, a good investment I think. Of course most of them have people in the backgrounds, but my borders covers some of them up!! :goodvibes

I can't wait until the TR to post about this.. we were in AK this past Monday about to get ready to leave, when Scott (1 of the parade workers) came up to us to see what we were doing. We were actually getting ready to go back to the room. Our phone just quit on us in the line for Dinosaur, so I was a little POed. He said he had seen us earlier in the day, and was going to stop us if he spotted us again. Long story short... we asked if we wanted to lead the parade on Rafiki's float!! DUH!!! Yes we want to be in the parade!! :cool1: It was so much fun... but painful with all of the smiles and waving! :rotfl: We just thought that was the coolest thing. I'll post pics when I get a chance to upload them. That's going to be the most aggravating thing ever. Photobucket is always a PITA!!!

Ok.. so bear with me on the writing of this TR. My memory isn't the best of all, so hopefully, with the extensive use of photos, I'll be able to tell yall all about our wedding and honeymoon!! :goodvibes

We went to work until 11:30am. I don't really feel like I accomplished that much but at least I was there!! We came straight home from work.. maybe a 5 min drive. We were set as to what each one of us was to do once we made it home. We went over this list in the car on the way home from work. I had to help take the kids (a cocker spaniel and a shih-tzu) outside, get online and check the bank website and call to make sure our celebrations were listed on all of our reservations (Yes, I know this is a very last min thing for me to do. It caused a lot of aggravation!!), and help pack up the car. Charley had to help with the kids, get the bathroom items up and packed in that bag, and start loading the car up. I specifically told him to grab both razors... his electric razor and the other razor, and of course his shaving cream.

So, my tasks weren't going so well. The Disney reservations website was taking FOREVER!! I was getting so angry! lol I gave up on doing that. I just figured I would call at some point on the drive down. By the time I finished doing what I was supposed to be doing, Charley almost had the car loaded. :woohoo: BTW we had been packing slowly over the past week, with the majority being completed Sunday and Monday after work. We got my dress and his tux in the car, and we told the kids bye. :sad1: We had a friend coming by to take care of all of them (we have 5 animals in all) until my mom got back from FL. So we got ourselves in the car, and we were off!! :yay: I think it was around 12:15pm.

We had to go get an eyebrow ring for myself. One that's smaller than the one I had. No such luck here. I bought one, but it wouldn't fit. I decided I would just get it somewhere in Orlando. We happened to run into my mom's ex-husband!! Very strange conversation there!!!!  Then we had to stop at the jewelry store to pick up the necklace and earrings they were letting me borrow. :cool1: We also had to pick up my new pandora bracelet and charms!! :cheer2: Very exciting time for me. Not so much for Charley! :rolleyes1 :rotfl: I must admit, I didn't think the necklace had enough bling to it to show in the pics, but I think it looked great overall. I'm glad I chose it. I kind of freaked out a little when I saw the price of them. They gave me a receipt to show they were loaning it with the price of both. The necklace was like $2300 and the earrings were around $700. Can't say I would want to loan out something that expensive!! But I'm glad they do! :thumbsup2 It sure saved us a lot of money.

After we left the jewelry store, we stopped at Chick-fil-A to get something to eat. We just got it to go, so we could go ahead and get on the road. We still had to stop and top off the tank with gas, and of course I had to go to the bathroom already....even though I just went at Chick-fil-A!! So we did all of this, and got on I75!!!! :thumbsup2 I think it was almost 1:30pm by this time.

So our drive down was very boring and uneventful. We did see way more cops than were normally do. There were lots of people being pulled over! I read my book, while Charley drove us. I think we might have stopped once or twice for me to go to the bathroom. I always have to stop at the bathroom a billion times. We made it to International Dr about 4:30pm or something like that. So we made really good time.

We went straight to the Premium Outlets on International so we could go ahead and get all of the shopping out of the way... or so we thought. We didn't have very much luck with the shopping. Of course I told Charley on the way down there that we wouldn't be able to find anything, because we really wanted to. It's when we don't want to spend the money that we actually find stuff we want to buy!! I think I might have jinxed our shopping trip from the start! We did manage to find some things. We both got all of the shirts we wanted. I was able to find a couple of pairs of shorts and jeans. No shoes that I really cared for. Charley was able to find some shorts and all of his shirts but no shoes. We were very irritated because we couldn't find anything. Our shopping trips usually lead to me arguing about something. Doesn't matter what!!! lol We finally decided to give up on the shopping and go get something to eat. We were starving. We did end up stopping at a couple of other places we thought we could find shorts at but had no luck.

We had already decided we were going to eat at Sweet Tomatoes Soup and Salad bar. We love this place. We missed the turn in for the restaurant. So we got all turned around trying to get back over there. Cue more aggravation on my part! But we made it there. It was delicious, and I forgot to take my camera in for pics. This will be a ongoing thing throughout our trip!!

After we finished eating, we had to decide where we wanted to stay. We were just going to wing it the first night because we didn't really know where we would be at. This was a big mistake. It was probably about 8:30pm or so when we finished eating. With my awesome IPhone mapping skills, we got slightly turned around... a few times... and ended up in the middle of Kissimmee instead of being on the main hwy 192. Needless to say, this was an exciting time in the car!! :rotfl: We finally found familiar territory, and found a hotel. Nothing fancy. I think it was a Ramada Inn. I'm not really sure. It was less than $50 a night, so I was happy about that. Plus it was already 10:30pm :scared1: and we were leaving our first thing the next morning, so we didn't need anything fancy. We got checked in and went to our room. We got out only what we needed to shower and get ready for the next day and went up to the room. We didn't sleep worth a crap!!!

YAYYYY you finally started your trip report!!! :cool1::cool1:

*I hate the Disney reservations website. It always takes SO LONG!
*They let you take $3,000 worth of jewelry?! That is AMAZING! And you got a Pandora bracelet? Is it your first one? What charms did you get? (I am *obsessed* with Pandora; so is Danielle!)
*I'm glad your drive down was easy peasy!
*I hate when I want to spend money and I can't find anything! Chris and I argue about shopping sometimes too... usually me getting mad at him because he's ignoring me or something. IDK, I'm usually overly sensitive. :rotfl2:
*Sorry you didn't sleep well, but at least the room was cheap!!!

Now, hurry up and post more. Or else!

So we got up after tossing and turning all night. Charley and I aren't used to sleeping on such a small bed. I take up a lot of space. Anyway... we got showers and got ready. This didn't take us long at all. We wanted to go ahead and get started so we could get to Disney. :yay: We loaded everything back up in the car and turned our room keys in.

And off we go... or so we thought! I was supposed to be using the phone again and finding somewhere for me to get my nails done. Yes people, I went all the way down there and had no plans for getting my nails done! It was madness. I got us all turned around again and got myself aggravated from the start of the day. :rolleyes1 We had decided to go by Wal-Mart and Target to see if we could find some shorts for both us. I'm not kidding.. we couldn't find shorts anywhere!!! It was almost 100 degrees outside.. where in the hell were all of the shorts at?!!? We did finally find some at both places. I of course got more, because that's what I do!

We spotted a nail place in the shopping plaza by Target. So.. this is where we went. I can't remember what the name of the place was, but it was great. We both got manicures and pedicures. I got the shellac for my nails and just regular polish for my toes. They turned out really good and lasted for way longer than I thought. They just started peeling off the other day. I got a light color on both. I didn't want anything really dark.

That was the last thing we needed to do before we got to the Disney gates.. so that meant we were finally headed that way!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

A few minutes later, we were pulling under this!!!

We had lots to do once we got on property. We went ahead to The Boardwalk to get checked in!

I must say, we were impressed from the start! Everything was beautiful!! Check-in went great. I did our online check-in for both resorts, so I think that made things a lot easier on us. Our room was ready when we got there. It was around lunchtime. We got our room keys, welcome folder, and I'm Celebrating pins, and went off to our room. I thought I took pics of our room, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Oh well. It was just a regular room. On the plus side though, we were right off of the lobby. Once you turned the corner to the left, we were like the 5th door down. Our balcony overlooked the Leaping Horse Libations and a part of the pool area. It was mostly blocked by a tree. No Boardwalk view. :sad1: I was kind of disappointed!! I won't deny it. We booked thru DVC, and I think pool view or garden view was listed on our reservations. I would've rather had the garden view. But it was nice anyway.

Here's the door hanger we put on our door for the entire trip. It was really cute but kept getting turned sideways and caught in the door. I used some of the 2 sided tape I brought and stuck it to the door.

BTW please excuse the huge pics. Photobucket is a PITA and I was tired of trying to resize everything.

Yeah, I have no life today and I'm stalking your PJ. So what?!?!

Glad you found shorts! And I want pictures of the room--- do you have some? I love looking at hotel rooms. (I'm weird.)

MOAR!

:yay: I knew I had to get started before I forgot important parts!!

Sometimes if I use a different browser, the Disney site works better. Oh well, ya live, ya learn. I couldn't believe they let me take that jewelry either. I didn't know how much it was when I picked it out about a month prior. Seeing it on the receipt was a real shocker!! I hope they got some pics of it, because I forgot!! Of course! Story of my life!!

That wasn't my first Pandora bracelet. My sister bought me one for my bday last year with a dangling birthstone charm. The bracelet was kind of big, but I could deal. Charley bought me 3 charms before we left on our Xmas trip this past year when he proposed. 2 Murano glass charms, ones a swirly purple color, the other orange swirly, and a knotted charm. Since I lost weight, it got to where it would just pull right off. :scared1: Not a good thing. So the jewelry store I bought all of my stuff from was having a Pandora sell... buy $100 worth of Pandora and get a free bracelet. So I got 4 more charms (Murano glass-clear with light blue stars, a turtle, a butterfly, and one with hearts.. everlasting love, I think) and the bracelet free! One that actually fits. I gave the other one to my mom. All she had was one of the leather ones.

And the shopping excursion was just plain UGH!!! He takes forever trying on clothes!!! :lmao:
