Jennifer and Luke's PJ/TR NY/WDW HM 6/6/2010,Wedding photos up! 12/08

Yes I did hear that, my MOH was in from Charlotte and they cancelled her flight so she had to scramble to get another one. We couldn't understand since it looked fine outside, just a little windy. I'm glad they didn't stress you out about it ;).

Glad you had a great time! Although, it's Disney, so of course you had a great time. Looking forward to hearing about your trip! Yes the unpacking... I hate unpacking!
haha its funny how on LI is says tornadoes and I have NEVER seen one....but it was a very good thing to keep from me. which I found out later people kept a lot from me afraid i'd panic....I guess I came off that way? :confused3 oops.
I'd say it's great to see you back, but you'd probably disagree with me :lmao:

Can't wait to see all your photos and hear all about it!
hahaha yeaaaaaaaah I would much rather be back in WDW but I am excited to write my TR, make scrapbooks and blurb books. so That will get me through for a while!!
Yay you're back!! :goodvibes Can't wait to hear more about everything and how the rest of your honeymoon went!
Thanks hun! It was so great meeting you! Your teaser pictures look great! sorry i haven't had a chance to catch up with your TR yet...but I plan on doing it real soon! (like tomorrow when I am suppose to be working!)
Yeah! You're back...now...about that TR...do we really have to wait????:rolleyes1popcorn:::goodvibes
hahahaha I know I know I will start very soon. Me and DH went through the photos we took on honeymoon...and we have 4200!!! That does not include photopass or any of the wedding photos! hahahaha
I'm with Petals and Pixie Dust... There is no waiting on a board with brides all *patiently* waiting for our weddings!
hahaha I will try and start tomorrow at least!

I am so excited to hear everything from your wedding day to your WDW honeymoon! YAY:goodvibes And wow! I can't beleive you have so many pictures! DH and I suck at remembering to take them!

Welcome home! I can't wait to see all of your pictures and read all about your special day. I think that it was sweet of people not to let you know of the tornado warning - if I was told that on my wedding day, I would seriously have a meltdown (I have a slight fear of tornados lol)

haha we are a touch photo obsessed. I use to be a photography major and DH always wanted to be one. sooooo....we tend to document everything. should be interesting when it comes to the TR and narrowing it down!

Thanks hun! Well lucky for us it was on Long Island and no matter how many tornado warnings that I have heard of.....there has never been one since I was alive. SO it was a long shot. but they are def scary!

Good Morning (afternoon now...but when I started it was morning...) my patient ladies!

So I will guarantee this will be an insanely long TR. Because me and DH are photo crazy.....and I like to talk! haha. I think I am going to do a separate Food review to spare you guys some of my insane documentation. (I will post a link however for those who are interested) I didn't think i'd have time to get some posting done today but there is NO work to do and my only job today is to vote on some site for my boss's friend? :confused3 and of course catch up with everyone's PJ and TR which i'm so behind on! so my apologizes! I would LOVE to say that the past 18 days had no hiccups. so I am going to explain them in this post to get them out of the way so we can just talk about happy stuff after! :rotfl:

I have no photos for Tuesday-Thursday (reason will be explained later) which means I may have problems remembering everything we did.
So I flew in on Tuesday afternoon. We went and picked up my dress and my mom's dress. Besides the INSANE rain we got that day we had no problems.

Wednesday I am pretty sure we just fixed the odds and ends. made sure all things were ready to be dropped off to the venue on Thursday. We finished welcome bags and dropped them off to the hotels. It was about this point that I become indecisive. I was so sick of choices that I didn't care anymore. :rotfl:
Thursday we dropped off the MILLION packages for the venue. The lady was very nice and seemed to have no problems with anything we had. which was a huge relief as we were afraid there might be problems with all my crafts. That night I had to meet up with my dad :headache: which was interesting. Then we went to pick DH up from the airport. His flight was delayed so he was super tired when he came in. but was a good sport and went to get food with me and my dad anyway. (this was my dad's request and we decided to get it out of the way asap)

Friday was our busy day...and slightly stressful day. Bright and early we went to get the marriage license. I was so worried there would be some sort of problem, besides the woman being a total jerk (isn't it a happy occasion to be getting your license? this lady has the wrong job) , everything went fine. The original plan was to pick up the Best Man and her GF and all go to the tux fitting. DH decided he wouldn't get enough time with his mom so off he went to the train station to meet up with her in the city. Meanwhile I went to pick everyone up. So of course their suitcase got lost so we spent a long time scrabbling to figure out what to do because the gf needed something to wear for the bachelor and bachelorette party that night and she is very gifted in the top area and I am not so she couldn't wear anything of mine! We went to the tux fitting and ran into my brother and SIL getting their fitting as well. it was nice to see them, because they weren't coming to the party that night. After this we tried to go shopping and then just waited for her bag to come in. Then we were off to the city. I met up with DH and his mom for dinner and then we all went to Brooklyn for the party!

My MOH and BM did a great job with lots of food (that i never remembered to try....) It was good to see everyone and mingle. I got to meet Luke's friends from England for the first time and they are AWESOME. It was a very small but nice party. (a BILLION degrees inside tho so thats why we are all so sweaty)

Yay, you started! I love the pics in the salon! That is the one thing I really wanted to do with my girls, but was too hard since we were in WDW. It makes for such cute pics, and it looks like you had an amazing time!

I love how everyone has "rehearsal" dinners, and more than half of the people don't actually rehearse! It is just a great "excuse" to get together and pre-celebrate :goodvibes

Thanks hun. It was a great idea, it helped us chill out (well me anyway)
I know right? I thought it was funny calling it a rehearsal dinner...but there wasn't anything else to call it! haha everyone seemed to have fun tho.

I love your TR so far! You got some great pictures of you and your attendants!
Thanks dear!
Your rehearsal dress is so pretty!
aww thanks!

I will post more...internet was down the WHOLE day at work so it kind of killed my plans to catch up on the boards and post some stuff. :sad2:

Yay you started your Wedding and TR! The salon pics are so cute, especially the one behind the nail dryers!

The rehearsal dinner looks great, you got so many nice pictures of everyone and your dress is super cute.

Looking forward to hearing more!

yeah it started!popcorn::
I do know how bad it is to wait for other people's! hahaha I didn't want to fall into that trend.

Morning ladies! So this is the post that I need to just do to get it out of the way. I would rather say it now then have to bring it up when I am doing the wedding day report because I would much rather people look at the photos then read this story then. PLUS Wendy already knows so I think I should tell everyone else.

So as I said earlier this week....there were a few glitches on the wedding day. One that now compared to the other seems ever so small. The Rolls got a flat tire 5 mins away from my house (the venue is 30 mins) and i had to hop into the photographer's car to make sure I beat Luke. My poor mom and grandma were stuck waiting for another car for like an hour. So while my whole idea of arriving in a rolls failed...I did beat luke and get some pictures before I had to go into hiding.

So as you all know I had problems with my bridesmaids and MOH but as it turned out they may have SUCKED leading up to the wedding but really stepped up to the plate at the wedding. but because of their lack of interest my friend (best man's GF) decided she would call herself the wedding coordinator and help on when my BM's fell short (which didn't happen) So she was making sure everything ran well that day and drove the other girls CRAZY. but she did keep my head from falling off. So my purse was locked in the bridal suite and it had the money to pay the DJ, Photographer, Officiant and tips. (so a lot) Now RIGHT before I left to walk down the aisle I took the officiant envelope out and showed it to her, "this is for the officiant if I'm not around to give it to her" and left it on the table so she wouldn't search for it. So during cocktail hour me and DH were off taking pictures and then soon the rest of the wedding party joined us. The girl took my purse out of the bridal suite to pay the officiant (which I have NO idea which envelope she gave her because it wasn't in the bag!!!!) and then she drank.....and left the bag on the chair (i'm sure you can see where this one is going) and left it there. Then she remembered and it was gone. Now I have NO idea who took it, 50/50 it was the staff of the club (which they deny) or someone else's guest. Now all this I didn't find out til 30 mins before the wedding was going to end. We are about to have cake when the best man, DH and the girl drag me outside. she trashed and making no sense until she starts crying hysterically. Well she obviously tells me and wants to talk about it. There's nothing she can do as of now. I have a party of guests and I don't want to deal with her. I am then also told that the wedding coordinator knew! and assumed I knew (now why would I be calm if I knew?) So the everyone at the wedding finds out.....the cops are called. and the girl? hysterically crying in the bathroom because I won't talk to her. DUDE COME ON. I stayed with anyone who wasn't in the same room as her and avoided her. So needless to say me and DH did not get our last dance....(we were going to dance to a whole new world) and I am ignoring the idiot girl.

Now half the people tell me this was an accident and I need to forgive her. The other half say I should make her pay. She has no money, in fact she was the one i paid to fly out there and stayed in my mom's house! so theres not much I can do. PLUS she is DH's best friends Fiance so I kind of have to be around her.

contents of bag- besides that the bag was my mother's from her wedding dress that she used at her wedding, my grandfather's handkerchief, my cell phone, my camera case with memory cards (my uncle had the camera, this is why I have no photos before friday), the money for everyone and there could still be things I realize later that were in it, because I never packed it, she did.

okay now that i'm done with that I can talk about happy stuff. will post teasers later.

I am so incredibly sorry that you had to deal with that on your wedding day :( I cannot believe the nerve of some people. In the end, by what you have said so far, it sounds like you still had a great day and a great honeymoon, but to have the police called at your wedding is really not fun. I look forward to hearing about all of the great things that happened!

reading through your wedding day glitches made me sad again! :guilty: I didn't know you got a flat going to the venue! I hope they didn't charge you for the rolls since you didn't get to use it! I'm guessing you haven't heard anything about finding the purse. At least you guys had an amazing day leading up to the end of the night. And 10 years from now you may even laugh about the whole thing!

If just having rain on your wedding day is good luck for your future together...I think you guys are good to go when it comes to luck for the rest of your lives! can't wait to hear about the rest of your day!

wow, that is a lot of drama!

I lost my wallet a couple of years ago, and it ended up being posted to me about 12 months later, complete with all the money, and I.D and everything that was in there when I lost it. It's still a massive hassle, but it could always come back :grouphug:

Can't wait to read all the happy stuff now! :goodvibes

Yeah everything else was perfect. so its just annoying that this had to happen and mess it up. so I can't answer "how was your wedding" with perfect because it wasn't...but it was before that happened. And everyone I have talked to since I got back wants to chat about it and i'm like....can't we just go with your wedding was lovely and move on? hahahaha

Yeah I left that part out. It seems so small compared to what happened after. Well they were already paid.....and sent another car so its not like we got money back. The rolls came back to pick us up at night (same driver) and waited a very long time because we were trying to calm everyone down. so we went over our paid time. No I didn't expect to hear about the purse. but in the end I just wanted the stuff that would mean nothing to the thief....which sucks because you never do get that back and they just throw it away im sure.

hahaha we had rain and mishaps! haha yeah we are golden :rotfl:

hmmm thats interesting...I can't see that happening (especially because there was no actual wallet in the bag) but I think thats awesome that it happened to you! See some people are nice.

so as promised here are some teasers. These are photos taken from my little point and shoot that my uncle had. so they aren't the best. the photographer said he is mailing the cd this weekend (and i'm so nervous about how they came out! probably because of all the issues that have come around)
