So we finally got back to the Contemporary Resort at 4.45, and mum and dad had already checked us in - they were just waiting for us to arrive so we could go up in the lift. Carl briefly popped to the check in desk to ask if Ron was working this evening (he was our server in 2006 and he was fantastic) but unfortunately he wasn't. However, we needn't have worried as our server was wonderful. Sadly, I can't remember her name now, but she couldn't have done mroe for us, and was so polite and friendly.
It turns out that Millie and Josh had been entertaining people in The Wave while they had been waiting, and lots of people who saw them fell in love with their antics! They also said to pass on best wishes to me and Carl, even though they didn't see us.
Once we arrived on the top floor, we were shown to our table which was a round one with half booth seating and half normal chairs. We had a nice amount of privacy but still got to see the view out of the windows. I'm glad we didn't opt for a private room as that would have felt too formal, and not really in keeping with the style of our wedding.
Once sat at our table we had fun taking silly pictures. Josh had soaked his shirt through (he's a real dribbler!) so he was in a different outfit now:
Our table was decorated with Mickey confetti and Millie soon got to work sticking it to my arm, then my brother joined in by decorating Josh's face

:
For starters we ordered a large sushi platter, plus three flatbreads, so we had a selection:
Then we had our main courses. Mine was vegetarian but I can't remember exactly what it was! It looked like this:
Carl and Rowena both had the oak fired filet of beef:
My mum had the salmon:
My dad had the pork:
And my brother had ostrich, cooked blue!!!!
During the meal we took some more random photos, and got a couple of nice ones of the flowers:
We also took a photo of the wine we drank - it was a sauvignon blanc - so we could try and source it at home. Unofrtunately, it isn't available in the UK!
At the end of the meal they served up some more of our wedding cake for dessert, and added a congratulations chocolate to the piece Carl and I shared - we'd had this on a complimentary dessert back in 2006 when we were celebrating our 2 year anniversary:
Finally they served up our favours:
By this point the kids had fallen fast asleep, so our server brought us a couple of pieces of rice krispie sushi to take away for them, as well as boxing up their uneaten pizza!
Next: Wishes fireworks cruise
