Jen & Jeff's Wedding TR ~ SBP, Ariel's--- More Randy pictures!!

WOW... What a wonderful TR! I am so sad that it has ended! I had so much fun reading along with you! You two are truely a beautiful couple and deserve the magical Disney Wedding you had. Everything from the flowers, to the cake, to your dress, to the colors were just goreous! I hope my wedding is as magical as yours was. I can not wait to hear about your home reception! CONGRATULATIONS...

P.S. I am also happy to hear that you love the WL... My fiance and I are staying at the POFQ during our wedding 4-night stay, then we will be going on a Disney Honeymoon Cruise, then returning to Disney World for 3 more nights at the WL. We have always wanted to stay there and we are finally going to do it... I can't wait!

Jen this was a fantastic trip report, I love detailed ones, it makes me feel as if I were there:goodvibes The proposal story was wonderful, very romantic, how sweet that he wanted it to be just perfect. You got quite a lot of pixie dust on your honeymoon, well deserved. I have an Artist Point booking but I was considering cancelling, is the food really that good?
It's so sad to come to the end of a TR, but glad to hear that there is a second part due in September. It's making me so excited to write my own TR, not long now:banana:

Jen, your TR was just fantastic. How wonderful for Jess and Paul, and wow, what a sweet thing to do for them!

I went through the exact same experience of depression, but it hit me the morning after. I was especially sad when my family left to go home. The post-wedding depression is only unmatched (to me) by post-disney depression.

I was so sad to know your TR was coming to an end. But now....knowing I have part 2 to look forward to???? :woohoo: It's as if I'm going in 2 months myself!

Your TR was fantastic Jen....one of my favourites!

Yep! Right up I-75! My roomie lives right on the Marietta/Roswell line too!! She lives near Johnsons Ferry Rd. Are you anywhere near that?? That would be too neat if you did!:goodvibes I'm glad there is a disbride near me!!

Great TR, you include so many wonderful details! Can't wait to hear more about your reception.

Thanks Tiffany! That means so much coming from you. Your one of my TR idols! Seriously! You better write your anniversary TR after your trip this year :goodvibes

We live at the Cobb Clover Leaf (intersection of I-75 and 285) on Powers Ferry Rd. I've heard of Johnson Ferry Rd before but don't know where it is :confused3 If your ever down this way and want to meet up, let me know :)

Jen - this was an amazing TR! You did such a wonderful job writing it. :thumbsup2 You and Jeff always look so happy together, and you are such a beautiful person.

I hope you like the WL - it is a really nice resort. We will have a great time at the F&W festival!! :goodvibes

I am glad that everything went so well for your wedding - I know how much you stressed about everything. But it really did turn out perfectly - and it couldn't have happened for a more wonderful person. Thanks for being such a great friend to me and everyone else!

BTW - Nati is such a cutie! And that dress for the at-home reception is so great!!:cutie:

Here are some pictures my family and I took in my parents' lovely backyard (that I'll never be in again  ) before the at-home reception. As you can see, Nati was just fine by then :goodvibes Jeff's suit is the same one from the rehearsal dinner at 'Ohana. Does the sash around my dress look familiar to anyone ;)

Sorry the quality isn't so good, my camera is ancient. I'm still awaiting my brother's pictures :rolleyes1

Jen I love these pics. You are such a beautiful couple. I'm so glad Nati is ok now.

Heatherlynn, I get a kick out of all your comments about kids. Can definitely tell you are not a Mom - LOL!:lmao: I happen to think that I have 2 fantastic kids but guess what? I don't think it's possible to get thru a Disney vacation with at least one meltdown (likely more for the average kid).

And, no, you can't predict or plan when they will happen. Kids can have meltdowns at the least predictable times. On the days when you push them from sun-up to sun-down and you just know a meltdown is bound to happen, they are ideal! Then on the days when everything is going right - like 3 days on the beach with no theme parks and perfectly timed naps, ect, they end up having the most terrible, horrific meltdown for no identifiable reason whatsoever. That's kids!

Please don't think I am picking on you - I was the same way - probably worse in my pre-child days. It's amazing though how you do get over that. Instead of scorn when I hear a crying child, I now have sympathy for the parents.

If you ever have kids, I guarantee if these comments will come back to haunt you!!!:rotfl:

you would have to know me....I was not being rude, and I know kids are not perfect...it just stinks that it ruined their proposal! i also do have a problem when a child has a meltdown and the parents do nothing about it. when we vacationed in disney in january, a 3 year old was having a HUGE meltdown, around 2:00, and the mom said "i dont know why hes crying, its only an hour past his nap time!":scared1: we were like "what! take the child back to teh resort for a nap BEFORE he strats freaking out, not after!" its that sort of thing that annoys me. i used to teach 4 year olds so i usnderstand, believe me....

Jen I am so sad its over! I loved reading it! and you two look great in your at home reception pics! thank you so much for sharing this special time in your life with us! you are such a sweetheart and I have loved "getting to know you" in the past few months!

Jen....everything looked lovely! I'm glad it all worked out for you. YOu look so happy!!!

Heather- I know what you mean about kids.

I sympathize with parents when they try everything to calm their kids down, and the kids just don't respond. I always wish I could help.

What I do hate is when kids are acting up and parents just ignore it as if nothing. I've seem kids screaming & running around, and the parents just continue with their conversations like nothing!
that makes me sooo irritated:mad:

I have so much enjoyed reading your TR. It was an amazing wedding. So sorry you can't go back "home". What is it with parents elling out on us. My parents sold their house and moved out the day before I got married. I didn't have a wedding. All the stress caused us to cancel it all and plan a simple service at home on my parents 30th anniversary. I dream of a vow renewal in Disney some day.

BTW...I'm a couple hrs up the road, I-75, around Chattanooga.

I hate it is over for now but I look forward to more at home reception pics and the Disneymoon Part II

Congrats again

Thanks again everyone! You have no idea how much it means to me that all of you shared my wedding day w/ me ;) I know you are all probably tired of me sounding like a broken record, but I appreciate the sweet comments so much :cloud9: Thanks again!

I am so sad that this TR is over! It's been such a bright spot in my day every time there was a new posting. I can't wait to see your photos from Randy; they are going to be gorgeous!!

Jenn...Just a few things....

-I just noticed the guys had on flip flops! That's great!!! Not sure how I missed that!:confused3
-I have thoroughly enjoyed your wedding and honeymoon! :thumbsup2 Thank-you for sharing it with us!
-I am also from NJ, but now am located in Buffalo! However:
You can take the girl out of Jersey, but you can't take Jersey out of the girl!!! I'll ALWAYS be a "Jersey Girl"!

Are you going to tell us about the at home reception? I hope so and am looking forward to hearing about it and seeing pics! :hippie:

OK...I scoured every picture in your TR and think I know what the sash is you are wearing...it's from the decorations on the chairs at the reception!!!! :thumbsup2 Am I right?!? :confused3

Yes, it is  One of my BMs (I won't mention her name b/c I don't want her to get arrested by the Disney police ;) ) took it for me b/c I wanted some kind of orange or peach sash to wear around my waist for the at-home reception and I never found one :lmao:
