At 6 am my phone started beeping b/c someone had sent me a text message. I was so angry that someone would text me this early the day after my wedding when everyone knows what a light sleeper I am

It was Susan saying good-bye. Why the heck was I crying about missing her last night- haha!
I feel asleep for about another hour and annoyed Jeff so much that he finally got up at 7:30. We showered and headed up to the concierge lounge for breakfast. It was so nice just to go grab breakfast, read the paper, and relax in the lounge. We were getting way too spoiled! We stopped at the concierge desk to ask them a few questions. I asked where the nearest Arribas Bros. was b/c I wanted to get Jess and Paul an engagement gift and the woman knew right off the top of her head- wow! I was impressed. Jeff and I had reservation for the 8:00 pm Spirit of Aloha show that night and Jess and Paul had been trying to get reservations for the past 2 months and couldnt. Well wouldnt you know the concierge helped us with that so now Jess and Paul would be joining us! Wohoo! This concierge stuff comes in pretty handy
We went back to our room and packed up since we had to move to a non-concierge level room. Boo to that! I called all my BMs and my parents and told them how I balled last night and they all made fun of me and felt bad for Jeff, haha! Mom, Dad, Jimmy, and Andrea were still in the villa and they were watching part of the wedding video that my uncle taped. They said it was great. I wanted to go over and see it but Jeff and I had to go parasailing and they would all be off to the airport by the time we were done.
Jeff and I packed and put all of our luggage in storage b/c our new room wasnt ready yet. Then we boarded the monorail and headed to the Contemporary to Sammy Duvall water sports for our parasailing adventure

Sorry I have no pictures of this! It was A LOT of fun! We made the weight limit by 20 lbs. so we got to go up in a tandem! We paid an extra $25 to go up an extra 150 ft. which was pretty dumb, b/c the higher you went up, the shakier it got, and the more nervous I got

But it was unbelievable! We could see all of WDW! All the landmarks
the Epcot golf ball, the Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, our old hotel the BC, it was just a great experience. I highly recommend doing this together if you can!
After parasailing we walked over to the MK to get Jess and Paul their engagement gift at Arribas Bros. We picked out toasting flutes w/ Cinderellas castle on them and we had their names engraved. We thought this was appropriate since they were getting engaged during Wishes.
We took the boat back to the GF...
Then we checked to see if our room was ready, it wasnt!
It was after 12, so we headed up to the concierge lounge again to see if their snack offerings could work as a lunch for us. And it definitely did! They had the yummiest spinach dip ever! It must have been sooooooo bad for me but I ate it almost every day. I want it so badly now. I would seriously stay GF-RPC again just for the spinach dip. Yum, yum, yum
After lunch we called Jeffs Aunt, 9 yr old cousin Augie, and his Grandma over at AsSp. His Uncle and grandpa were at some car show in Orlando and the rest of them were just spending the day by the pool. Augie had asked me to go swimming with him after our rehearsal dinner and after the wedding and I felt really bad that I couldnt. Jeff and I thought it would be nice to have them over to our pool at the GF. His grandma and Aunt definitely found this location more enjoyable! Haha
While Jeff and I were waiting for them at the pool, we were trying to see if my just married flip-flops that were supposed to make marks in the sand would work. They didnt really at all. What a rip off!
Jeff trying to press them into the sand.
Jeff and I spent the next couple of hours playing in the pool w/ his cousin and chatting w/ his Aunt and Grandma. It was really nice to see them again and I always love having a child around to play with since I often act like one myself

(Once again sorry for the no pictures, Jeffs Aunt is supposed to be sending me them!).
Then, finally at 3:10, I get a phone call that our new room is ready. So I go to the front desk and leave Jeff w/ his family.
I go to check out our new room and wait to have our luggage delivered. Our new room was on the 5th floor on Conch Key. I opened the door and the first thing I noticed was that there were 2 queen beds when I requested a king, second thing I noticed was the over-powering smell of cigarette smoke, 3rd thing I noticed was that the walls werent painted and there were no curtains

What was going on? I was so angry! Granted we were getting a discount but we were still paying a lot of money to stay here and there was noooooo way I was staying in a room like this. I called down to the front desk and asked for my luggage not to be delivered. Turns out it was too late for that, darn! I tell the CM on the phone about the smoke odor and the lack of paint and curtains. Then I ask if theres anyway I can have a king bed since thats what I requested and it is our honeymoon after all! She says nothing, checks my reservation and says I didnt request that so we cannot be moved. WHAT

Of course I requested that! She asked if I had a copy of that request. As you custom brides know, we book our honeymoon stays through the Weddings team and you do not get a receipt of your requests like a normal reservation does. I tell her this and she asks if I had any other proof. Now I am a very polite person and I was speaking very nicely and I was so upset I was being treated like this. I asked again for a king bed and she told me shed see what she can do and shed call back in 5 minutes. Well, 40 minutes later I still had not heard from her! I was sitting in the room all that time by myself and I left my cell phone w/ Jeff and I knew he was getting worried about me. I called the front desk back and the same CM said they still had not found a room for me. I ask her to please call my cell phone so I can leave this smelly room
I then returned to Jeff and his family. I told him what happened and he was very upset at how the situation was handled. He even went to the front desk to ask what room I was placed in so he could check on me and they said there was no one under my name or his name staying at the GF that night

What was going on? So we went to the front desk together and they said they were completely booked and we could not change rooms

I was getting sooooo upset! Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and the whole resort is supposedly non-smoking.
Then Jeff had an idea! Since we technically were allowed to use concierge services for the rest of the day, he suggested we head up to the concierge desk and see if they could help us out. It kind of felt like we were cheating or something but at this point, I didnt care.
Next up- Would the concierge be able to help? And the Spirit of Aloha show!
