Jen and Brook's Excellent Adventure

first day sounds fabulous! I can't wait to take a sans kids trip so I can fully explore Epcot.. with an 8 and 4 year old its very rushed!! :rotfl:

I am all about a clearance sale for kid's stuff! I always hit that same sale at Kmart! I stock up on birthday gifts for the whole year. We are always being invited to a birthday party for kids at church, school, family, in the neighborhood..... so that's how I do it every year. I LOVE a deal!!!!

I also use Vista Print and love them! Last year I ordered everything that they had for free for DD's teacher for her Christmas gift. I turned business cards into homework passes and return address labels into "This book belongs to Mrs. X" labels. I also made the sticky notes, tote bag, note cards and matching pen with her initial in that cute polka dot pattern. I made the mousepad to say "Mrs. X's Class", and I'm sure I am missing something! Anyway, she LOVED it! She told me it was the best teacher gift she had ever gotten.... and it didn't cost me a dime! It took me all day to make the stuff, but I have more time than money! :) I plan to do the same thing this year for DD's new teacher. Love the t-shirts that you made and what a deal!

All your TA plans sound wonderful! I am sooooo jealous!!! Please take me with you! :worship: I can't wait to see your pictures from CSR and CBR! I am hoping we get to stay at CBR this year. I just love the looks of that place! And all the "private" meals and fireworks that you will be doing sound great too!

I would absolutely vote for spending some time in WS while you are alone. I ADORE WS!!! My DD is not in love with it though so if I had the chance to go by myself, I would snap that up! :thumbsup2 You could have a field day back there with your camera! So many good things to photograph.

It sounds like Dizneet (Karin) is willing to go with the flow, so you'll have a few options in front of you!:thumbsup2 I would vote for AKL, I'd love to see a "Jen Photographic Tour" of my resort in October.:rolleyes1

Wow, you're first TA day looks to be packed. Interesting about the Norway Loft. Never heard of it.:confused3 I hope your dinner is good and yummy!

Whatever will you do if pictures aren't allowed? It'll be like they're cutting off one of your limbs.....:rotfl:

I can see it now, they will say no pictures, and about 10 minutes in Jen will sitting on the floor shaking and bobbing forward and back, and will be heard muttering. Pictures, I need to take Pictures :lmao:

That or her fellow travlers will be on the DIS asking for donations to bail Jen out of jail for taking pictures when they said no!:lmao:

Yes you can. But the week after Christmas is less than likely to have a discount,...but it could happen or a PIN sent out. I knopw a good travel agent you can work with! :rolleyes1

Thanks! Ill keep her in mind!;)[/QUOTE]

:thumbsup2

It will feel so different to be alone though. But fun.

The Grand Marnier slushie is excellent!

Good idea about teacher gifts. I might have to remember that one.

So there is an ulterior motive for your vote! :rotfl:

:confused3 I'm sorry, I didn't here them actually say NO. :rotfl2:

I'm getting more and more jealous.

The Grand Marnier slush is good, but the Grey Goose Citron one is better (in my opinion anyways).

It's a good sale. I'm still debating on going to another kmart, just to check it out. In the past years they both had different stuff to offer.

:thumbsup2 Hey, it's research!! :lmao:

EXACTLY. Not that I would enjoy it. purely research.

I agree too! The Grand Marnier is too sweet, but the Grey Goose is yummy!

First TA day sounds like so much fun!

Just found you Jen! Your trip sounds sooo fun!

I might go check out our Kmart today if I get a chance. How long does the sale stuff usually last?

Have fun with the rest of the planning :)

Is it not advertised in their ads? The closest KMart's to me are about 1/2 hour away, so i'm debating driving over tonight. Do you know if they go into big boy (size 8) clothes, or is it all just toddler and little boy stuff?

I don't get their adds, but I looked up our local add online. It was in that. Yes, Claire wears size 10. All appareal was 40% off of the clearnace price. I had to drive 1/2 hour too. Thats why I did a double confirm with the add online.
