How are you doing with the travel agent work? Are you booking many vacations? I would LOVE to plan people WDW trips and have for some friends. I already have a 'profession' (I am a RN) but only work weekends so I can stay home with the 3 boys during the week. I am always looking for extra money to support my WDW habbit!! LOL! Jsut wondering if it is worth looking into?

I went to the Poly for the first time this year on our arrival night and watched the EWP and the fireworks and had so much fun we went back on our last night too. I plan to make the an arrival day tradition now

I took pictures of Claire on night a few weeks ago just playing. Her and Skip were trying to skip stones on the pond. I also randonly took pictures of the sky, since it looked so cool that night and a few of the cows too.

Love the pics, but gotta ask - is that a boat? Is your pond large enough to row across?

Yes, that is a boat. Not for use though. IOt's Skips Dad's old boat, and I guerss he had some brilliant idea to put it on the hillside of the pond when they retired it. It's ugly and awful. I said when we built our house I wanted it gone, as I don't want to look at that thing out my back window everyday. 6 years later, it's stil lthere. No one wil lmove it. And I have given up. MIL got mad about it. It's falling aprat and weeds grow all around it, but it's just become the norm now and no one will move it. So I just take pictures instead. LOL!

Only 3 weeks from today till I leave!!! At this time in 3 weeks I'll be at Disney!!!!! I will have already met karin and Tom at this point in time. How exciting!

I got my ME mail yesterday....well part of it. I got the part for going home. (YUCK). I still haven't recieved my arrival ME yet. Which will be seperate because I am staying at a different resort that 1st night!

I think the most exciting thing is everything you're going to see that you normally wouldn't!

Getting the documents just makes it all seem "official" now, doesn't it?

You should strip the paint on the boat to make it look even more weathered, and tell everyone that it was a shipwreck from when Lake Erie was that far over land, or make up some crazy story about pirates!

Actually, I liked the boat! You got just enough to spark curiousity!

I love Mickey Mail. It does nake it seem more real.
The boat is pretty weathered. I'll have to find or take a picture of it from the other side (my view of it everyday) and show you how beat up it is. It has kind of grown on me. Kind of like a love / hate relationship.

Friday Aug. 19~

My last day.

We don't have a lot planned for this day.
We start out at the Convention center for breakfast and trade show at 7:30.
At 8:30 it has Technolgy Tools and Resources scheduled. I am actually not sure what that is.
And at 9:15 we have a clsoing ceremony and graduation! I have seen pictures of "others" graduating and they seem to all have had a picture taken with Mickey! I hope thats the case for us too!
The schedule says it should be done with at 10:15. I think the original sign up said 10:30...so some time in there. And then we are on our own.
My flight is a 5:41. I assume that ME will be taking me to MCO around 2:30ish? So I will have a couple of hours.
I am not exactly sure what I will do. Part of me wants to go to MK. And I guess if I didn't get my fill of it during the week, I will head over for a bit. I also have thought about going to DTD and explore a bit. Or maybe just hit Epcot again, so I can be close to the Yacht Club and not worry too much about making it back in time. I REALLY wish I had thought it through a bit more and stayed an extra night.
I even went so far as to double check yesterday to see if it was possible to change my flight. But it will cost $115 and any flight price adjustment to change with Spirit. So it's not worth it. I would have to pay for another night to stay as well. If it was only $50, I think I would. But $115 is awfully steep.!
I won't arrive home till 9:16. My Mom and Claire are coming to pick me up. I have heard their is a an Earl of Sandwich at Detroit Airport on the Spirit side. If it is still open, I may stop off and get something before I go pick up my luggage. One last Disney memory!

I would like to say I would be starting my TR immediately, but I know that won't be the case. I am still working on my Spring one, so until that is finished, the new one will have to wait. Plus I will have photopass to edit and it would be nice to have the CD once I start writing as well. But I WILL write a TR about it!

I can't beleive how calm I am about it all. Normally I am ready to pack and getting things together. This time, I am not even doing anything for the trip for the most part.
I I know I won't be able to pack till a few days before, since I only have so many pairs of shorts. I have started working out again a bit though. I need to condition myself for all the walking again.
