can anyone tell me about jellyrolls. i know its a dueling piano bar. do you have to get there early to get a table and what time would that be. is there a cover to get in, minimum drink order. are there children in there. any info would be helpful TIA

I think it starts around 8, but you can get in at 7. I haven’t been in a year but it was like between $10-15 cover charge, and it’s only for adults over 21.also I remember they don’t serve food, only drinks. And you can’t charge the cover charge to your MB

We really like JellyRolls!

We would try and go during the week around 9 or 10 PM. Fri and Sat nights was packed!

There is a lot of interaction between the piano players and the audience, if you get a good audience it really helps.

You can request a song by writing the title/artist on a napkin and then putting it on the piano. It seems the better you tip the more likely your song will be played.

I think they had free popcorn, last time we were there. It was a year ago. There is a cover charge as mentioned by the above poster, some like $10 to get in.

It is loud, but can be a lot of fun.

We went around 9 on a Thursday night in July and it was absolutely dead--literally two other tables. The bouncer was super rude and the bartenders were more interested in speaking with each other than serving us. I won't go back.

I've never experienced anything like this report

I've been probably a dozen times in the last five years- there's always good interactions between pianos and crowd. No kids, people are nice and easy to talk to. Usually wife and I end up making friends with strangers. It's well worth the cover charge to get in IMO but I'm a sucker for piano bars :)

I was surprised and bummed, since I had read so many good reports. We just felt so unwelcome, and that's not a feeling I chase on vacation, especially not after paying $15 to get into an empty bar. We had much much more fun and stellar service at Kimonos and the Rose & Crown pub.
