Who can tell me what Jellyrolls is like? Fun? Not so fun? Any info appreciated!

Jelly Rolls is an awesome place. The bigger the crowd the better. The only drawback is that it can be smokey.

Tons of fun!!! One of my favorite places in the "world"!

There are 2 piano players at a time (they switch off every hour) and they will play just about any request you can throw at them. They are fantastic!! They also have a lot of fun songs that they do every so often that require audience participation like the Unicorn Song and the Hand Jive, stuff like that.

They encourage singing along, and we always leave so hoarse after an evening there. It's also quite loud and at times it can be smokey, but it's really a blast!

I don't know what it was about Jellyroll's, but my DH absolutely loved it! I have never seen him participate in anything like that before! Maybe is has to do with the Disney Magic, but he sang along, he did the group songs---he got up & danced, & he didn't want to leave. (Our kids were in the Sandcastle Club @B&C & had to be p/u by midnite!) I know we will definitely be going to Jellyrolls in May since this time we are leaving the kids @home & we won't be restricted as to what time we need to leave. If you have a good crowd it can be great fun. It is quite contagious! Try it, you'll like it. JMO Kathy ;)

I'm going to try this place during this trip. Sounds like too much fun!

Thanks for the recommedations, everyone!

Special wink to I <3 Eyeore. ;)

Kungaloosh!

Jellyrolls is great. It is like Howl at the Moon if you have ever hear of that. It is a sing along and you can make requests.
We just went to HOWL at the MOON where we live, wish it was Jellyrolls, I would love to be in Disney right now.

A MUST for us on every trip!!!

If Ray happens to be one of the performers, you're in for a real treat. He's been there for years and is absolutely the BEST! ;)

You'll have a great time!!:D

Just like everyone else... It is a must I had so much fun. We are going next week and getting Fairy Godmothers to watch the girls and it is worth every penny for a babysitter. Have fun!!

They can play ANYTHING!!! My little brother tried to "stump" them with Stairway to Heaven and they played it! ;)

Of course, the best stuff is Beatles, Elton John, and Billy Joel, but like I said, they can play it all!

They can play it all but they've been know to refuse requests for Britney, NSYNC, and the BSB. ;)

r3ngles- Thanks for the pm. Have you used the babysitting service before? Did you feel comfortable with it the first time? I have never left my girls with a stranger, but a night out sounds refreshing.... This place sounds fun.

It is mostly singalong and there is no food.

DD, are you drinking now?

It is mostly singalong and there is no food.

Wanna join me in a stoli and lemonade???

What time would you recommend getting there? After Illuminations?

We like to get there between 8 and 8:30 to get a good table. The place really starts rocking around 9 or 9:30. Week nights are actually a bit less crowded. I think that some of the locals go on the weekends.

nuts4sn00py,
When are you going in May? It will be just DH and myself this trip too. We are going to be at BCV May 10th-15th.
