We want to come prepared!

What are some of your all time great song requests at JellyRolls?

You would be suprised at what they can play. Of course they can do the typical Elton John or Billy Joel hits. My favorites are Baby Got Back and Livin on a Prayer. But I have heard them do anything from Green Day to the original song from the Universe of Energy. "The Uni-verse, the Uni-verse, Of Energy...Of Energy..." If the tall guy with glasses is playing that night, he also does this funny thing to Kermit the Frog. Have fun...:thumbsup2

Any Jimmy Buffet, they do a good brown eyed girl too..

There isn't much they can't play, lol. If they don't know it, they fake it really good.

It's been years since I was there. One of my favorites was, believe it or not, Meat Loaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights". They did a great job.

It was rumoured that Thursday night was the best time to go, since the CMs came after work. Not sure if it was fact or not, but around 11:00, the place got crowded.

They know quite a few songs but here are my favs by piano player:
Scotty - Buttercup and the Disney Medley
Ray - Bohemian Rhapsody
Tommy - Any James Taylor or Jimmy Buffet
Jason (last night is Nov. 4) - November Rain and Pour Some Sugar on Me
Christian (last night is Nov. 11:sad1:) - Great Balls of Fire, You Can Leave Your Hat On and Toxic
Mike K - Daydream Believer and the Disney Medley
Daniel - Any Aerosmith and Come Sail Away
Michael - New York State of Mind and I Like Beer

Tuesday night is unofficially CM night and it gets very crowded - always a great time!!!!

We went once summer '06 and had a blast. We got there when it opened and there was only about 2 other tables of people! I think the rain had something to do with it. So basically we had them to ourselves for a while. They like when you request not so popular songs, instead of the same old songs. They played two of Dfi's favorite Billy Joel songs, Summer Highland Falls and Vienna. They even played them both again later in the night AND bought us a round of drinks. It was super fun! Can't wait to go back.

Dirty Water and Sweet Caroline...both obvious choices for the Mass/NE group.

I like most anything...
Except - American Pie and Pianoman
those songs just never end!

Songs I love!

Michael - Capt. Jack, Bad Day, Aint Nobody Here but us Chickens,
New York State of Mind, Tainted Love, Song for the Dumped
and Beastie Boys!!!
(any Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder)

Daniel- Boston, Queen - Somebody to Love & Don't Stop Me Now,
Mr. Brightside, Dream On, Billy Joel, Journey -
(if it's a tough song to sing...
then he's the guy to get to sing it! )

Christian - Hallelujah, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Leave Your
Hat On, Satisfy Me (aka Little Less Conversation) ,
Ice Ice Baby, Gangsta Paradise and Boston!
(I'm so bummed he's leaving!
I wish I could see him play 1 more time!!
He will be missed!!!!!!)

Ray - Rehab, Baby Got Back, Queen, Piano Duel Off with Scotty

Scotty - End of the World, Like a Virgin, Piano Dueling with Ray

Tommy - You Can't Always Get What You Want, any Buffet

Mike K. - One Week, Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow, Imagination,
Song for the Dumped

Jason- Jason's leaving too, and I'm probably going to miss him
at Jellyrolls almost as much as Pete-O :sad1: If you get a chance to see
him before he leaves- He's definitely worth seeing!
*fav. songs... Crazy Train, Talk Dirty To Me, Rock Star, Blister in the Sun,
Save a Horse-Ride a Cowboy... basically any 80's song there is!

Definitely give Jellyrolls a try!
It's a blast!!!

These are great so far!

Anyone know what songs are THEIR favorites to perform? Which song, when requested, makes them wink at each other like "yeah... finally"! ;)

the songs with the most money ;) :lmao: :rotfl2:

Agreed. If its early in the night, and you take them a $10 bill, your song will magically go to the front of the line. If its late in the night, you better make it $20. The more people drink, the more paying $20 to hear a song sounds like a good idea so that becomes the going rate to skip the other requests:rotfl:

We were there one night and there was a SUPER fast pass - a $100! It was hysterical - two different men wanted their "woman's" song to be played so a $5 went to a $10, went to a $20 and it ended with the $100. I don't even remember the song ... but it was really fun.

My favorite is Scotty singing the Rainbow Connection :)

was $130- :rolleyes1 lmao
