Can anyone tell me more about this place? I hear the "dueling pianos" act is awesome! I'm a musician (piano player/singer) and have a feeling I would LOVE it!!! Is there a cover charge? How do I find out about showtimes??

Thanks, agotta! I checked out the link....I guess it's not quite what I expected. It's a BAR bar.....I'd be there to hear the show! Me and hubby are in our 30's and out of the "bar" scene!!! Would I enjoy it???

I have not been there, but have stayed at the Boardwalk. I think the main attraction would be the pianos, not the "bar". Since it's Disney, I think all ages would be there.

I think you would. It's not a bar like you would think. More like a lounge/bar. Don't think a lot of young 20-somethings just drinking. The cover is only $5 so even if you don't like, you didn't lose that much :)

Don't go on Tuesday night... that is Castmember night and will be more of your "bar" scene. Also note that they do not serve food except popcorn, so the no smoking policy is not in effect there, if that is a problem. That is why I can no longer go. Allergies!!!! :teleport:

Jellyrolls is one of the few places in Disney that is strictly 21+.
The cover charge is either $6.00 or $7.00.
They have different sets of 2 piano players, who keep the music going. They take requests(with a tip of course) and really get the crowd into it. Its a lot of fun.

I had a great time at Jellyrolls and I am - ahem - older than you and also out of the bar scene. With the exception of Tuesday night when you'd see a younger crowd with all the CM's, I think you'd find that there are just as many older people as younger people there.

I've been a few times over the past few months, even solo in Dec. and plan on going again in 2 weeks!!!

The cover charge is $7 and is strictly 21+. There are 4 piano players each night rotating 2 pianos every hour. Definitely some audience participation and song requests!!! I don't smoke, but it's never been so bad that it bothered me.

I'd say - give it a try!!!

I am not into the bar scene and just love going to Jellyrolls. It is a lot of fun. To me the one negative is the smoke, I can tolerate it, but that is about all.

Pat O'Briens at Univeral CityWalk is also Dueling Piano type bar and since it is on the first floor of a two story restaurant they do not allow smoking (although you can't get food in the piano bar)
