Thanks for the tips!![]()

I checked out ACMoore, and found one with a trigger for 14.99. I had a half-off coupon, too, so it only cost me 7.50
Can't wait to try these with the DD! She'll love the cookie gun![]()

C.Ann,
Do you soften your butter? Every receipe I have calls for softened butter, but I just want to make sure.... YOu would think I would know the answer to this.....
I've never used my cookie press nor made spritz cookies before..... Creme burlee, yes, spritz cookies, No![]()

Yes - I always let it sit out and soften for awhile unless a recipe specifically says "cold" butter.. It's much, much easier to mix that way..I usually take it out of the fridge an hour or so before I start making the mix..

There's still two posters who specifically requested this recipe that haven't popped in yet, so I'm bumping this up for them..![]()

I'm glad she bumped it, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it.Why not just PM them with it?![]()

Okay, I printed this recipe out and I'm going to try it but does anyone have any tricks for getting the dough to come out of the gun? I always have trouble with mine sticking.

) Now I have to go get a cookie press
i have non electric one, and i find that the dough sticks less if i chill it for a little while before putting in the press - like 20min or so.
