Thanks guys!
I know we are really looking forward to the show. I said something to my 2 nieces that are also going and they started doing Achmed & Jose impressions. DH & I talked to DD9 and explained to her that there would be some bad language and there might be some jokes that she wouldn't understand. She replied to my husband, with her hand on her hip, "just because he says bad words doesn't mean i'm going to say them!"![]()
Anyway, she'll be going. I dont' think it will scar her for life.![]()
Oh, as far as the age restriction, I looked on his website, and the website of the location where the show is and neither said anything about age. I then called the location and asked and they said there was not an age restriction, but that there was some swearing in the routine. I'll bring ear plugs just in case.![]()
I'll update on Monday and let ya'll know how great it was!!

No, it won't scar her for life. You asked for opinions, but is sounds like you had already made up your mind. My kids have said the same exact thing about how they won't use the bad words when they beg to watch something. If there's a couple of minor bad words, I will approve the movie, but it has to be minor. They do get to watch movies like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, stuff like that. It's the raunchy stuff I don't want them to hear over and over again. My DD said she gets offended when she hears kids cuss on the school bus and knows they are saying it to be cool. I feel though that I would be sending a wrong message by approving her seeing a show like that at such a young age. The bar gets raised rather quickly as to what comes next.
The other thing about my kids, is they do ask questions when they don't "get it." Nothing gets by them. They've always been this way which freaks adults out because many people are used to saying things around their kids that go right over the kids' heads, but my kids will pop out of the group and say, "What's that?"
They are well behaved kids. DS13 & DD9 know how to act in public....they even say please, thank you, yes ma'am and no ma'am.
Would love to see him in person.
