Jedi's, Princesses, and Johnny Depp! Oh My!! Liam's Wish Trip!

Oh I just LOVE it!!!

What a magical moment! I am so glad he got picked! I love his shirt - and his excitement and concentration was so evident! :goodvibes

Still a student in the ways of the force. How awesome.

I love the pictures! And am grinning ear to ear that you got them. :) Thank you to Disney PhotoPass for making it possible for Wish Families to get the photos!!

I love this TR! He looks so happy. :goodvibes I would love to have had something like this when I was a little girl-I too was completely into the (earlier) Star Wars. I'm so glad he got to do this, it's definitely one of those "once in a lifetime" moments.
Take it easy and rest and I'll wait (im)patiently for more cute pictures...popcorn::

Here is one last picture of Liam in the Star Wars Jedi Acadamy. This is when Liam got his certificate.

There was some great magic during the show as well. The Photopass guy was sitting in a rolling chair and going around the stage trying to get some good pics for the parents with the kids in the show. During the middle of the show his chair broke and he had to put away and ended up missing a few of the kids in the show. The chair broke right after Liam fought Darth Vader. I guess his power in the force is stronger than even he knows.:rotfl:

After the show it was pretty hot (it was in the high 80's and low 90's all week) so we decided to head to the Muppet 3-D movie for some airconditioning. The show was great, the 3-D and special effects really made it. I loved it when the kids were trying to grab at things that they thought were right infront of them. I definatly recomend this show, especially if it is getting hot outside.

Unfortunatly this is also when one of the worst parts of our trip happened. As we were leaving the show I went to take a picture of the kids infront of the Miss Piggy Fountain when I relized I didn't have my camera with me. I had somehow dropped it in the movie theatre. I went back amidiatly but had to wait for the next show to be over to look. Not finding my camera I sadly made my way back to my family when a CM stopped me and told me they were going to delay the next show so that I can look for my camera.

Unfortunalty even with me, the kids, and 5 CM's we couldn't find the camera but they still had one more trick up there sleaves. They let the next group in and we asked them to look. We unfortunatly still had no luck but I will never forget the lengths that those CM's went to to help me and my family keep those memories. I feel lucky that this happened early in the trip and I didn't loose to much (and lucky that my brother was taking pics of the Jedi show) but I still feel angry that some decided that the camera they found was free for them to keep.:confused3

Oh well, no reason to dwell on it. Until later when we go to the Honey I shrunk the kids playground and the Sci-Fi Dine-In.:yay::yay::yay:

I am in tears for you. How horrible to lose your camera. :sad2: That is like the worst on a wish trip.

I am glad the CM's helped you, though. I would have been real disappointed if they didn't get the importance of it!

Can't wait for more! :)

Oh no! How horrible to lose the camera but you are right someone had to have taken it then! So sad! I am glad it was early on but still!

Love the jedi pictures!

The jedi pics were so cool! It looked like you guys had a really good time that day. It bites that someone took your camera..I just don't know about people sometimes, but glad it happened early on. Can't wait to read your next update!

Grrrrrr. That is such a bummer! Thank goodness you got fabulous photopass pics and your brother's as well.

It was hard getting over the fact that I wouldn't get my camera. I kept hoping someone would turn it in and a new wave of fustration would hit me when ever I thought about it. So I tried to think about it as little as possible. We still had 4 1/2 more days at the parks and I didn't want to ruin our special trip for the rest of the family.:confused3

Unfortunatly the search for the camera took about an hour out of our day already so I decided to get a handle on my fustration and move on. It was only a little over an hour until our reservation at the Sci-Fi Dine-In so I thought it would be a good idea to find the resteraunt and find something close to it until our reservation.

A couple of minutes later we were standing infront of the Sci-Fi and I was looking very much like a tourist with the park map folded out in front of me. It was at this time that a very nice CM stopped and asked if there was anything that she could help us find. I explained to her that we had about an hour before our reservation and wanted to do something relativly close so we wouldn't miss it. She asked if we had been to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Play Area yet and when I said we hadn't she pointed the way.

The Play Area wasn't very big, but the kids all had a great time playing with the oversized items. It was a perfect place to relax and not feel rushed about getting back for our ressies.

Here is Aidan sitting on a huge ant at the Play Area.

Here is Mia on the same ant, you could see it better in this pic.

Here is Aidan going down the leaf slide. I think it kind of looks like a tonque.:lmao:

After working up a nice appitite we headed back toward the Sci-Fi. Even though we got there several minutes before our reservation we had to wait about a half an hour to be seated. Luckily there was seating inside the airconditoned building. We started talking to an older couple and found out that they had a niece who had CF. What a small world we live in.:rolleyes1

We finally were seated in the resteraunt and the kids were very excited about the decor, especially the large movie screen we were able to watch during the entire meal. My only complaint is that I would have prefered everyone being able to face each other but I do understand what they are trying to go for. :thumbsup2

Me and my brother ordered the angus burger with fries (very yummy) and Mia and Liam ordered pasta with meatsauce. To save a couple of bucks I feed Aidan off of my plate and ordered him a choclate milk. Every one loved there meal especially Mia who ate every bite. The kids loved that there meals came on Mickey shapped plates and came with a ice cream sunday.

Well thats it for now. Next time we luckily catch the Block Party Parade and see the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular.

I'm eager to read more about your trip. Liam is an awesome Jedi! Love the photos! :thumbsup2

Sounds like the kids were able to run off some steam at the playground before they had to sit for dinner. :thumbsup2 Glad you enjoyed your meal!

So after we left the Sci-Fi Dine-In I looked at the show schedual and relized that it was just about time for the start of the next Indiana Jones stunt spctacular. Liam has the Lego game for his Nintendo DS so I knew he would enjoy it, but I must admite that this one was for me. I have been dieing to see that show since I saw part of it on an episode of Full House. I know, I am such a dork.:rotfl::rotfl:

Everybody seemed to love the show but Mia wasn't expecially fond of the the fire.

So after the show we walked back into the park and I pulled over to the side where all the the bronze busts were to look at what to do next. I than relized that the Block Party Bash was going to start in 10 minutes and we were already on the parade route.:banana::banana:We than noticed a bunch of people sitting on the steps infront of the American Idol Experiance. I asked the next CM I saw if people were able to stand infront of the stairs and she informed me that they couldn't. So we parked the stroller and sat on the steps to wait for the parade. I must admite that it was perfect stadium seats for the parade.:banana::banana:

It started raining when we were waiting for the parade but only lasted about 5 minutes. And than we heard the music and soon the kids were able to see there first Disney World Parade. The kids absolutly loved it and the seats were so perfect that many of the dancers interacted with my kids personally which made it extra special. I think my favorite part was the green soldiers. Many of them were very funny.

Next up is the Toy Story Mania Ride and the Beauty and the Beast show.

I love that parade!

I have not seen many of the day-time parades and honestly most are sorta boring compared to my favorite - SpectroMagic - but I love this one. I love the characters and interaction. Kids seem to really enjoy it, too!

Great report so far!!!! :) Keep it coming! :)

This was definatly a very good parade for the kids but I know what you mean about spectromagic. We actually went over to MK after DHS closed just to see spectromagic. It was the only day we were able to see it and I definalty didn't want to miss it. You will see more about that soon.:thumbsup2

Just scanning the boards for trip reports from the last week (we leave in a week!!). My DD was sitting here and saw your Jedi Training pictures and she is super stoked about it. I think she may be more excited about Star Wars then the Princesses! Ahhhh! Oh well she has her Star Wars Rocks shirt complete with rhinestone's already to wear, I sure hope she gets picked.
