Jedi Training Signup During EMH?

We are heading to DHS this coming Friday!! We have 2 kids who have never done Jedi training, so we want to be sure to sign up.

I know the first show is at 9:40am most days, but does the signup start at 6am with the EMHs or does it start at 9am when the park officially opens?

do signups start right at 6 am or what time ? Do early afternoon slots tend to fill up before 9 am?

I can't speak for all days but we went to EMH, signed up for a time (which we then missed because my four year old lost her magic band at the hotel during a break). We went back around 2:00 and there were a ton of spots still open. Just our experience, but they had no issue getting her a time and adding my son who wasn't originally on the list.
