We will be at WDW for one of the STAR WARS weekends and I was wanting to take my 9 yr son to do the Jedi training and light sabor fight with Vador. I know you have to sign up for alll this, but was wondering how soon or early can I do this, does anyone know?

thanks.......may the fort be with you:lmao:

My oldest son did that a few years ago.

They do it daily, several times a day. The times are posted by the stage. (it's by the big Star Wars ride) you just show up about 20 minutes or so before the next "battle" and have your son wait as close to the platform as he can get.

They randomly choose kids. My son had a birthday button on because we went for his birthday that year so I don't know if that made a difference. I've also saw kids hold signs to try and be picked too.

Actually, the way they sign kids up for this has changed. You need to arrive at Rope Drop at Hollywood Studios. Then head directly over to Jedi Academy. A line will form and they will pass out return times to the kids in line. It's first come, first serve. Your child needs to be in line with you. Then you come back 30 minutes before your assigned showtime.
