My son would love this - serious jaw drop moment - how can i find out in advance when this will be on ?? on wdw website it just says its not always on and to check park map. Is there anyway of checking park map b4 we leave??

I have just printed off the schedule for next week. The website updates every Saturday evening with the week aheads times etc.

I'm sure I read an article on here about the Jedi training.

My son got chosen when we went this year. The academy is located at the side of the star wars attraction. The times are published everyday on the times card.

Get there early, and get your son to chat with the CM's. Make sure he wears something bright. My DH wore a red T-shirt with a big union jack on the front. They also have to jump up and down and act very enthusiastically.

There were around 12 kids chosen, who got to practise with their lightsaver and learn a stunt routine. The out comes Darth Varda, and they do a one to one fight with him.

All the kids get a lovely certificate at the end. It made his holiday. I thought we may have to goa few times before he was picked so we were really lucky.

I hadn't realised you had to be chosen,when we were there 2 weeks ago it just looked like the kids queued up at the side & took turns- each child got to do 4 or 5 moves (all the same) with Darth Vader & then the next one come up.
