Sorry I can't help on the GOLDEN code. I don't know what they are asking for, maybe what you ordered does not qualify for that discount?

I just thought of something: Are they asking for the number on the back of a catalog that is highlighted-usually in yellow? This might be taking the reg price to a sale price (updated sale catalog). If it's a sale price it will not be eligible for a 40% discount. That's for reg priced merchandise only.

Hope that helps someone. What I'd really like is not to have to pay an arm and a leg for my daughters bed spread! I'm so cheap!

The validation code was most likely a special deal "AKA-Mad for the Mouse" recieved. I also tried to use it but I don't have that information. I'll wait for a response and for my daughter to decide on a color. Thanks!

I just used a free shipping code of APRWEL5. I'm not sure of all the limitations, but it worked for me on a $10 order.

I guess that I should have read the reverse side of the postcard before I posted the code. Apparently you would need to use a special validation code that is unique to the individual customer and can only be used once. So, I'm going to remove the code from my original post. Sorry. It really is a great deal if you're a Penney's catalogue shopper.
