JCPenney event this weekend?

I heard a commercial on the radio today about
a coupon-handing out event Friday & Saturday at JCP.
I called the local store to see if they were opening early &
the person answering the phone was not much help...
she told me there is a jewelry event.
(I did not get that impression from the radio commercial)
Anyone else hear anything?

Have always gotten the $10 off $10 but did see a woman two people in front of me last go-around get the $100. Nice to see it's on the up & up.

I went this morning to JCP & got a $10/10 coupon in the give-away.
I did witness a little old lady in front of me get a $100/100.
She was surprised and dazed.
I bought another Christmas present today....
and there's another $10/10 in the coupon folder for next week.
The cashier gave me another coupon for the jewelry dept and I got a free boxed jewelry cleaning kit
It was worth the stop this morning

Got a 10 off 10. Hubby went too and got the same thing. Got some stocking stuffers today. Our store actually had a long line of people waiting for the store to open.

Today clearance shoes & clothing were buy one get one 50% off.
DH and I went today-he was looking for shoes...He got a $20/20 coupon.
I had noticed some boots in the shoe clearance yesterday for $26.99.
He found 2 pair of hiking boots in his size.
He got both pair.
Using his $20 off, 50% off the second pair of clearance shoes & a $10 on my JCP rewards....
he paid $9.70 for BOTH pairs of boots (originally priced @ $70 per pair).
Total discount on the receipt said $131.05.
He was happy.
I told him he was a great shopper!
